That's not really the case. To be used on the ground, it is designed to be placed there. They are firmly planted in the ground by sharp points on their legs. Stepping on the pedal is what triggers the action. There is no better thrower than this. I have tossed a lot of birds with mine. are free to throw yourself a party.

You will have to pay a lot of attention to your hips and knees with this thrower They are kneeling. In its current state, the foot pedal is too high & the device does not respond There is too much stiffness in the spring. The weight I am carrying is 150 lbs, and I am 6 feet 1 inch Standing on the pedal causes it to move just enough so that I am not triggered. In order to trigger it, I have to jump on the pedal, then I am completely off balance. You are thrown off balance when a heavy spring releases. I have updated On this, I replaced the EYE bolt with a new spring tension bolt. Adjustment and more flexibility are offered by it Sets the foot peddle at a 2 inch height. With my weight of 150 lbs, I am now able to use the unit. Now that I understand it better, I enjoy it more. There is no longer a longer bolt on these spring adjustments, therefore this manufacture does not put one. The 5th link of the trigger chain is being used. A medium throw is required (at medium throw height).

Thanks a lot! Our family decided to start shooting clays this year
5/5

We have a local range that we can use locally, and we thought it would be a lot of fun
I purchased the Remington 870 and the hand thrower to give it a try.
My first gun and I had never shot before so I mainly shot fish.
First time out of 75 rounds I only hit 2 targets. Hence, I chalked it up to inexperience but when I went back the next weekend, I even missed 2 targets out of 75! I am now feeling discouraged and I am thinking this is not for me! I spent a lot of money on this gun. That day at the station next to us were two guys using a Trius step thrower, and they were taking the time to talk to us Our friendly staff showed us how to use it and so we decided to purchase it. Assembling it was easy and we were ready for the range in no time. This is fun! I shot 100 rounds the other day and hit over 50 percent of my targets so I'm doing a lot better. You can use it to throw clays consistently once you learn how to use it, which makes your shooting experience much more enjoyable. Using constant pressure is the best way to step on the release pedal. Don't jump at it. Stand over the thrower and use a steady footing. As far as jumping around, it does happen if it is not mounted to a tire, but since we do not have one mounted, we Unless the clay is not flush against the hitting bar, it will not break the clay's throwing. In the accuracy category, I have had issues with throwing doubles, which is why I gave it four stars. You can throw either side by side or stacked doubles, but the side by side can only be thrown on the lowest 2 height settings and one of the clays always seems to break during the throw. If you use the stacked doubles, you won't need to worry about breaking them so I recommend that method. My breakage rate of clays has upped to 80% now after many clays thrown with it. I could not be more satisfied! This is a great product, and my daughter will also be getting one You'll love it!.

It is a piece of equipment that I absolutely love
5/5

It is a piece of equipment that I absolutely love. Comparatively to the cheap imitations that show up in the sporting goods section, the overall quality of this is great. I really like how easy it is to assemble and use, and how well it performs. It has been downrange with approximately 300 clays for a while now, and I haven't had any malfunctions, nor have I broken a clay. It is easy to adjust things and keeps things fresh. I purchased it because it is very easy to operate alone, so I have no regrets. It's not my thing to join a gun club It's really fun to just take it out to the field whenever I want and do my thing as much as I like when I have some trigger time.

If you're thinking about getting a solo-shotgun, I highly recommend it. This is a powerful, yet simple trap that won't cost you as much as an electric one. Get it now without a second thought!.

This is a good value for 2013 was the year I purchased one of these
5/5

My purchase has not been heavily used, but I am happy with it. Shooting with a shotgun is a great way to improve your What I like about you is that you have no need for someone else's help. There is only one drawback, and that is that the plastic knobs are prone to breaking, but I have never had to adjust anything with them, so it is not a big issue. Sand bags can be draped over the front legs to prevent it from tipping, which can be remedied by drapings them over As I do, you can shoot on public land in the area of Mount Hood. If you happen to be outside in Hood National Forest, please show your outdoor manners by picking up your empties and other waste.

There is a lot of value here
5/5

First of all, who are the people who seem to have a difficult time following Are there any more things you would like? Could it be so simple? Second, the quality of the metal and the materials is excellent considering the price. Third and most importantly, the price is right. There are no problems with this device. In that case, you shouldn't shoot a gun. If you are complaining about it being difficult to push the pedal, you probably shouldn't be driving. This is not something you stomp on. A step down is barely felt as you lean and put your foot on. It's super easy. You probably shouldn't shoot a gun if you can't do these things and raise the gun to shoot. A fourth reason to buy this swing arm is that when it is reset, there is no spring to cause the arm to get "stuck. ". A thrower like this can prevent you from putting your gun down. To put it in another way, it can be done one handed and then one footed.

You can use a hand thrower, but if you can to hire someone to do it, it will be more effective
3/5

I got this for my wife since she has a tough time throwing clay with hand throwing equipment. She really likes it because it throws clay fast. There is one issue with it It jumps around a bit, and sometimes breaks clay. Apart from that, it is a very solid piece of kit. Despite the fact that you can change every aspect of the throw with a hand thrower, I still prefer it. To change the angle, speed, or direction, you have to "fiddle" with the controls. A hand thrower is so easy to use you can throw floaters, low fliers, etc. with ease. There isn't much to it except to have someone.

Chucker is a great joke
5/5

The chucker I use has been in service for more than a year, and I've launched more than 1,000 clays using My experience with it is positive, and the device is built well. The ball has a 25-cent bounce As the spring tension is adjusted by turning a knob, the length can be set to between 100 and 300 yards, and the pitch is also adjustable, though it takes a moment as you need to undo another screw to tilt the column up or As the clay is placed on the arm it can be easily changed from left to right depending on where it is placed on the arm. Also, two clays can be loaded at the same time without adjusting it. The experience has been great for my shooting buddies, as well as for me.
