Questions & Answers

If I use this at the range, will it be able to isolate my shot from the other nearby shots fired down range?

Not at all. While I have used a lot of shot-timers over the years, I do not remember any having the capability of doing that during a busy night of shooting.

What are the pros and cons of using this unit ?

Yes, but only if you're the only person on the scene. As long as it is used in a busy environment, it will pick up more than one shooter. This is a problem with pretty much any shot timer. It has nothing to do with the one in question.

Although the timer I received from Amazon was listed as taking cr123 batteries, it actually took nine volts. Is there a reason for ?

The one I have has been with me for about two years, so it's not new. Using a single 9 volt battery, it can be operated for several hours. The spare I carry with me in my range bag is much cheaper. The sheets are easily removed and replaced. There is nothing I love more than

Would it be possible to set the alarm so it goes off at both the beginning and the 2 minute mark?

You can set it to go off 2 minutes later if it has a delay function, random or time, but I am not sure if it has a time function.

I was not able to use it

In a nutshell, It was my first time using my shot timer, so I took it to the range As for the instructions, you need to simply take a few time shots. There isn't much to do. In addition to instant or deferred reaction times, you also have the option of setting a PAR time when you press the GO button. You can also adjust the sensitivity setting when you get into the battery compartment, but it is not recommended that you do so. The rest is basically shooting and looking at the results of your 1st shot as well as your split times between shots as well as your total time. * When I used it, my timer was on a bench about two feet away from the target. This time, I was 3 feet away from the firearm (Sig Sauer P226 9MM in this example). This is issue #1 on the list As you can see, the video shows the results of four shots taken about one second apart. The first number displayed kept increasing so I believe it was an overall timer for the day, and I could not figure out how to reset it. It was not uncommon for shots to be separated by only a few seconds. A 13 split was shown for my third shot. Was it 1976? four seconds elapsed, so it wasn't even possible to do it. The screenshot featured above is a snapshot of the split times for the four shots taken with my MantisX. This is issue There appeared to be an overall timer value that continuously incremented as my first shot and split time. I am unable to find a way to reset it. This issue belongs to Issue I had the timer set to 'instant' mode. As soon as I hit GO, the timer would begin recording, and I would get There were times when it took only one shot, but it could also take up to four at a time. The reviews only allow posting of one video, but I have one of this. In light of the favorable reviews by others, I believe I was just unlucky to get one that was defective. I'm going to return it and try a different brand. I think this should have been controlled better and never made it to a consumer for such an expensive product.

130 dollars is too much for me

Nope. Just can’t do it. It will be impossible for me to justify the money for something so simple as this. The indoor usage of the sauna was quite problematic, however, but I went ahead and bought it anyway. Picks up the phone but does not answer. Regardless of how it is positioned, 22 is the same. Can you shoot a pistol indoors as well? Put it out of your mind Counting your shot as one and your reverb as another is the process. You can use it for the most part once you know how to use it. During the summer. There is not a lot of durability in cheap plastic. It is a complete waste of time and money to buy belt clips. The material can easily be bent. There's a lot going on there.

It is not as hard as it seems

or Hope for the Best. Why does my subject line look the way it does? Though it looks good overall, I'm not fond of how bulky it is for what it actually This modern design seems a little outdated to me, but I think the blue squarish ones designed by Jerry Miculek (not a plug) are more effective. It was my choice to get a more modern necklace, as I didn't want to look old school. For me, this is a fail. The only negative aspect of this timer is that it's not really as useful as I would like it to be. You have hope if you have hope In other words, I keep looking forward to it working I see that the sensitivity can be adjusted behind the battery, after reading through instructions. From top to bottom, from left to right. I was not successful with whatever I tried. The timer is quite cheap, and I have probably went through about 50 rounds with it and it hasn't picked up a single shot yet. In my case, I turned the sensitivity all the way up and gently tapped the unit with a rubberized screwdriver, and it picked up the sound. The string picked up not a single shot after firing 5 rounds. My firing range is indoors, with no other shooters, and I use subsonic 22lr cartridges. However, it did not record any echoes -- I was afraid that it would detect echoes This is not at all true. There is a possibility that I got a faulty airsoft gun since another reviewer was able to get it to work. My guess is that it will be able to pick up a 22lr if it can pick up an airsoft gun. this is the case, there seems to be a very high failure rate, which means their quality control may not be as good as it should be. Just a quick note, I downloaded a free shot timer for the Android platform. You can get much better results with this than with a $130 dedicated It would be nice to not have to pull out my phone while In this study, a free shot timer app performs better than an expensive one. Shame on you. It would have been nice if this timer worked, but if it didn't, it wouldn't have worked. It will be returned to me.

I had a bad experience with customer service and was not happy with the They seem to work well on multiple shooters, and have been seen used in multiple shooting scenarios
3/5

I, however, never had success with mine. I was unable to use the timer right out of the box. I'd try to start the timer by pressing the button, and the timer would restart. The company that sold it through Amazon has never responded to my attempts to contact them. It is also the second order I have placed with amazon and with There was no work for either of them. I was never able to capture my shots with the first one.

The shot timer is the best I've ever used
5/5

The user interface is simple and easy It is impossible to forget the instructions once you have read them. For training, courses of fire can be run for contests and qualification. Courses of fire with delay function and par times are great. As long as there is no other shooter nearby, there will be no false shot detection. Despite its small size, the display is incredibly easy to read, and when clipped to a front pants pocket, it is held towards the user. It is used by professionals Seeing a well-crafted one on a well-known website made me want to buy it One of the world's most well-known professional shooters uses it to instruct.
