THIS is a quality product, but I ordered it under the notion that they included 8x40 screws. I don't agree with you. In light of that, I sent it back. It is because they failed to supply those screws that they lost two stars.
It fits my Bergara since it has a rem 700 base drilled into it.
It's a Leupold, so what more can you ask for? Aluminum base from Windham that is one of the best aluminum bases you can buy. It has a standard 1913 pattern mount, accurately milled and with a strong aluminum base. The product fit perfectly. It was installed using the recommended torque settings. Putting some Loctite into place will ensure it lasts a lifetime, and there will be no need to We chose 0 MOA since this is the base for a hunting rifle with a low mounting position so that the scope has a easy time maneuvering and does not require elevation adjustments.
There is no obvious reason why others may not be receiving screws, mine came with screws in the original Leupold packaging. I was able to install it perfectly into the Christensen Arms Ridgeline! The product arrived in two days, and I was very pleased with it.
The reason I gave this 1 star is that it wasn't designed for a Bergara HMR Pro, but should have been able to fit the SA Remington 700. The Remington 700 is modeled after this. It was a complete waste of both There was too much play in the screw heads. This is a very disappointing outcome.
A similar one I installed for my friend on his Howa worked great for him. It is the best deal out there when it comes to price and quality. person talking smack about this doesn't have a clue about how to put it on and does not know much about the gun they own.
This was just sent to me. You answered "yes" to the question in February "Has it come with 8-" The screws number 40. This is not the case. It doesn't fit now that I have a mount! Moreover, the 8-inch tubes do not fit in the holes in the base The screws number 40.
However, while the base itself has not given me issues I have issues with the screws that came with it. In my Remington 700 SA, it appears to be impossible to place into the receiver. I am not sure why, but I assume it is because the screws are too short. But anyhow, I spent the better part of an afternoon trying to screw all 4 screws into place but they did not seem to tighten It is because of this that I will automatically give it one You can buy this with the base, but if you do, you would be better off buying the Make sure you have working screws or you may be out of pocket $40 if they don't work.
