I couldn't tell the difference, but the Kevlar-lined gloves are extremely comfortable and functional. If you're between sizes, go up a size. They're incredibly snug.
Because this is a gift, I am unable to respond to your question.
It's slick on the inside. It has a neoprene-like feel to it.

Hatch, in my opinion, produces the best light-weight pat- gloves are taken off They provide excellent protection while not obstructing my ability to manipulate small objects and identify items by feel. For all law enforcement personnel, this is a must-have.
I wear these primarily in the fall (because I despise cold hands), and they do a good job. They're also pretty tough and don't take up a lot of space - These are simple to use and won't get in the way of your work. For the price, it's well worth it.
This pair of gloves was fantastic. When I worked in a prison, I had to use them on a daily basis when conducting searches. They are then able to feel items, have good dexterity, fit well, and are resistant to cuts. These are a great set of working gloves that I used almost every day for a year before they began to show signs of wear or began to fall apart.
Gloves are very comfortable to wear, and I enjoy wearing them. I only used them a dozen times before the velcro strap broke about a month after I got them. The worst part is that the strap snapped while I was carrying it in my pocket. I don't even use the straps, so it wasn't put under any strain. It all came tumbling down around me.
Hatch gloves have always been excellent, and this pair is no exception.
These are garbage and are a knock-off brand made in Vietnam with different materials. If you want the originals, go to the website and order them; the originals are made in Indonesia.
These lasted a long time and allowed for good finger dexterity.
For Law Enforcement Officers, this is an excellent product. For the past five years, I've been wearing these gloves. Despite the fact that they are a little pricey, they are well worth the money. I throw out the old ones and replace them with new ones when they wear out.
