The color shell isn't the one you're looking for. It's because they're the outer shell of a pair of gloves. They'll be dark in color. They will not accept these gloves if you order them to donate to CIF.
They're made to fit over wool gloves of the same size. They should fit if you order the correct size. br>I'd also like to point out that the fingertips on these shell gloves are a little bulbous and the finger tips are a little too large. These aren't military-grade items. However, they resemble spec gloves in appearance.

These received three stars because they are well-made and of high quality. These are better than Rothco D-. I'd give it a one-star rating because it received three A's. The sizing, on the other hand, is incorrect. The glove liners will not fit a size 5. They fit as if the glove liners were not included in the sizing. I ordered a size 6 to match my regular size 5 liners. Without the liners, they should be a little bigger.
Gloves are made to be very tight fitting. My hands stayed toasty warm for a long time. The fingers, on the other hand, are extremely fat - When I try to open a door or handle car keys, I feel like I have fat sausages for fingers. The leather is of good quality and can be worn for both work and dress. They are, in my opinion, superior to the GI gloves I previously wore.
