Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use these ?

The answer is yes, A Ruger 10/22 carbine with synthetic stocks was used to mount it. Worked great for me. You just need to follow the steps. A lot of holes can be drilled in the stock. If you want, you can set it with a drop of epoxy, but we didn't do that. The rotating part can be a little annoying, but it was not a big deal. After that, I went to a Project Appleseed event and fired between 400 and 500 rounds through the Ruger. It does not seem to be a problem with my stock or

What is in this package? Is it two or ?

There are two in the package.

What would be the result of this fix on a PC9 / PC4 barrel band from the first generation of Rugers?

As far as I know, it works on my Ruger carbine. A swivel like that fitted perfectly on my barrel band on my 44 mag, and the same set of swivels worked equally well on my Ruger 10/22. A 22-caliber cartridge

This sling loop is 1" in diameter, is it not?

You will need a 1 inch sling to use the loop

The directions are not to be followed
5/5

This rifle is installed with a synthetic stock on a Ruger 10/22. A number of reviews mention that the barrel band attachment is not to their liking. fine, but make sure you take out the screw and push the mount underneath it and then reinstall. Instead of placing the mount between the barrel band halves, we recommend taking out the screw, taking the screw out, and placing the mount underneath it. There is no need to worry about the slight offset. There is a possibility that you may need to drill a little bit of space for the screw to fit through the mount hole, since the shank of the screw is smooth and This task is best completed with a drill press and the mount secured in a Again, if installing on synthetic material, you may need to change the installation directions. In order to install the butt end without countersinking (due to the thin material), there were no countersinks. With a 5/32" bit, drill a hole that is a little bigger than the 1/2" lug and screw it in I had no problems with it.

It needs to be modified, but it is of great quality
4/5

They are a replacement for an old 1987 Marlin model 60. The 22-lr. The stock is made of wood. I thought these holes would need some modification to be able to fit since there were previously holes from some kind of stud. I was right after all. This new hole had a much larger diameter than the old one, but I was prepared for a tight fit because I knew the old hole had a smaller diameter. After I plugged it in, I found that the short one was too long for the It was retracted, the white spacer was removed (the white looked terrible with the wood), and the end of the tip was ground off. About 20 minutes were required for a grind and screw to install the front one. Since I drilled into solid wood, it did not matter that the back one was longer than I needed. Due to the fact that the stock and hole weren't drilled at the same angle, I had to countersink the head of the stud to ensure that it fit flush in the stock. If you're wondering why I gave this four stars after all this complaining, think about this there isn't any. From just looking at this product, you know why Mike's is THE standard for rifle mounts and swivels. The quality of the product is good With this light little gun, I will not have to worry about it falling off. Due to their thickness and length, they probably are more suitable for bigger weapons, so I won't take much credit away from them You should also include a black spacer between the two lines. The quality of the product, however, was excellent!.

The perfect accessory for the new Ruger PCC rifle in 9mm
5/5

I was looking for a quick and inexpensive option for my new Ruger PCC sling. With the rifle, the front of the stock was equipped with a stud, and the bottom of the stock had molded holes and tabs. It took seconds for these sling mounts to be installed on each end. Ruger should offer this product as an accessory for this rifle since one of the components fits like it was designed specifically for the However, only time will tell if the goods last, but looking at the quality of the materials, it seems.

The best thing about this is that it is cheap and easy
5/5

On my 10/22, it did a pretty good job. It didn't fit my barrel band screw, but perhaps it will for you. I tried attaching the sling to the barrel band screw, but it didn't work. The synthetic stock I have is fairly hollow, so I was a little concerned about the screws falling out or stripping the material. A hole was drilled into each of the rifle's stock limbs after I removed the rifle from the Installing the screws was a breeze and they left no loose threads or movement at all after installation. I like being able to attach a sling to this upgrade, it has been very useful for me.

A few modifications were needed to make it work
4/5

I was able to use it on my Ruger 10/22 Takedown with great success. It was necessary to modify the front strap of the barrel. It was necessary to file down the inside of both ends of the barrel strap so that In addition, I needed to provide the inside of the frame with some rubber tap to prevent it from sliding.

This is a simple modification that works well once you make it for Ruger PC9
5/5

It turned out that the part I ordered for the Ruger 9mm carbine was the right one, but it needed filing on the outside of the rear swivel hole on the stock. A too-big profile forced the swivel to open (though not completely) when the swivel was tilted all the way forward (which would be the case if you were carrying the rifle over your shoulders). It is very straightforward to modify the part, and if you have a few files and sandpaper it isn't difficult at all. You can easily see where you need to take out material by rotating the swivel backwards and forwards. If you want them to work properly, you need to modify them until they can swivel freely all the way forward. Once this is complete, they work great, but it is important to find the correct part for your.

This is exactly what I wanted, and it fits perfectly! The only reason I purchased this item was for the Ruger 10/22 end band swivel adaptor, but I also installed the rear stud as well
5/5

There was no need to remove any material either from the adaptor or the band when the barrel band stud adaptor was fitted between the two ends of the band. As with the front stud screw, the rear one also went in without a hitch. To make the installation easier, I coated the wood screw with candle wax by rotating the threads across the wax. Rather than use the sling swivels in this kit, I purchased a second set of uncle mike's swivels that measure 1 1/4 inch for use with slings of the USAGI style. Nonetheless, I find the band stud aesthetics to be attractive enough to make this kit worth the purchase for me. The product is highly recommended, and I would buy it.

This is not a direct match
3/5

In my opinion, the stud that connects the barrel band to the barrel should There is a grinding down process in every video of them installing it. The front of the synthetic stock is thicker than the butt stock, so I will not have to grind my barrel band either. The barrel band would also need to be ground so I just used the screw in studs. The kit would have to have thin studs that fit on any 10/22 barrel band without grinding, or include a threaded stud with a nut at the fore end so that it could be made a 5 star.
