What is the pad's size?

5 in x 3. 5 in. It works well with Wild Hare, MizMac, Browning, ShockEater, and other brands of gear.

Is this going to fit in the browning austin shooting shirt xl (30106564)?

Yes. All of Browning's, Wild Hare's, NICA's, Peregrine Field Gear's, and ShockEater's recoil pads will fit in the recoil pad pocket.

Is it going to fit in a Beretta vest?

We have customers who use this pad with the Beretta vest, but because the pocket in the Beretta vest is over-sized, we do not recommend it. To keep the pad from moving around in the pocket, it must be pinned or secured in place. ShockEater, Wild Hare, Browning, NICA, MizMac, and Peregrine Field Gear all make shooting apparel with pockets that will fit the ShockEater Recoil Pad perfectly.

Is this pad compatible with the Orvis Clays shooting vest?

Like the Beretta and Eddie Bauer vests, the Orvis Clays Shooting Vest has an oversized pocket. This pad was not designed to fit this type of vest, but it has been used by customers. It would need to be pinned or secured in place to keep it from shifting in the pocket. The ShockEater Recoil Pad was created to fit snugly into the pockets of ShockEater, Wild Hare, Browning, NICA, MizMac, and Peregrine Field Gear shooting apparel.

It's a fantastic product, but the size isn't quite right

In terms of shock absorption, it performs admirably (I have Browning and Beretta recoil versions that aren't quite as good), and the lack of bulk is appealing. The relatively short tang, however, is a letdown. As a result, four stars are awarded. It could be lengthened and possibly widened by a section at a low cost, as it sits low to the shoulder in most shooting vests (see picture against Eddie Bauer) such as Browning or Beretta and thus moves around in the field. Alternatively, if you know exactly where it should go, you could sew it in place, but that limits its versatility. Please provide a one-section longer option. The delux version will be slightly wider, as it has the potential to be the Rolls-Royce of the future. Recoil pads for shooting jackets are the Rolls-Royce of recoil pads.

It is light in weight

The recoil pad in my shooting vest makes a significant difference in the sharpness of my shotgun's recoil. The recoil pad, combined with the switch to a 1 ounce 12 ga. bullet, makes for a powerful combination. Loads have made shooting 200 rounds a day with no bruising or soreness a non-issue. Neither of these things apply to me.

There was no way to improve the packaging. br>I was pleased with the item, which performed as expected and as advertised; I would recommend it and order it again. You won't find a better deal for the price. br>.

You will not be disappointed if you include it in your Wild Hare Shooting Gear Primer Mesh Shooting Vest. Slim and unassuming, you'll hardly notice it's there while shooting, but it eats that recoil like a champ! You will not be disappointed if you order one today.
