I did not understand how these things work since the bag was filled by someone who did not know what they were used for. It is not necessary to stitch it shut as tightly as you can while trying to cram as much fill medium into it as possible. The same result could have been achieved by wrapping a brick in 500 grain sanity in multicam form instead of this gun rest bag. To prepare it for sewing, I cut a stitch line through the middle, removed over a third of the beads inside it, and then closed it up with stitches. I do not believe this is an optimal solution.
Some reviewers stated that it was a bit tight packed, but I don't find this to be an issue. A new one just went under the buttstock of my LaRue OBR. I slide the bag forward and back to change my elevation on the 308, which is on a 45° stock. My groups are very good off of a bipod in the front.
I'm glad I bought it. The 5 and the I didn't have this before getting the "8. " groups. A small group was looking for them. A 100-yard shot was taken in all cases.
The range's "U" notches are always notched, so I bought this bag to have a backup. I'm used to using 8" tall tables, but on my local range the tables are belly high, so I have to use a booster seat. There were plenty of pro-choice signs on the street There is a bean bag strapped to the forearm of the shooter It was a good buy in the end. "Filled version" (compared to the $16 unfilled) is rather tight - which is what you need in support when holding your AR-22LR. I use a magpul vertical grip on my 22LR and this lifts it just enough to keep it on With a Ruger 10/22 and my Aero Precision 5, I gave it a shot. The build is 56, and the AR- is - This is also a 9 16" build as well and it holds up well. Both arms of the Velcro are different, so you can wrap the loop around a foreend and remove it easily (originally, it was Testing it out in real life, it was good enough to hold in place, but it needed to be clamped down. The stitching on my dress is barely visible yet, so I am not sure how long it will last. Having said that, I only have one complaint There aren't any other colors available (black, gray, flat dark earth, green, black multicam, etc. ).
There is not a lot of action at In terms of elevation, squeezing would not be much of a help.
Items look and feel nice. They were delivered fast. However, the item is overfilled and so you can only adjust the height and width of it. Because it's sewed tightly to the skin, there is no way to remove it. The product is still an excellent sandbag, other than that.
The quality of the construction is exceptional and the set is very sturdy. Use of the squeeze bag is not possible. The bag would have remained in my possession if it had a zipper or other easy way of removing the filler.
This bag has been in my possession for the past few days and I am quite satisfied A good level of stability was achieved. The items were ordered in time for my weekend shoot and delivered as promised.
Thought it was a good barrel rest. This bag looks nice and is constructed well, but there is no give in the bag, so I would not recommend using it for precision shooting. Since the bag cannot be squeezed to raise or lower the butt, shooting precision would be impossible.
