Product Description

This allows most Harris-style bipods to be mounted on M-LOK compatible mounting points
The most common bipods on the market are mounted using this low-profile, robust, and elegant mount.
This adapter utilizes the direct-connect capabilities of the M-LOK System to allow the bipod to sit against the mounting surface closer than other adapters, while also providing the bipod with the best support possible.
Other accessories that attach to traditional sling studs are also compatible with this device

Questions & Answers

What modifications do I need to make to fit a Harris bipod?

That won't fit on mine. The bit that attaches to the bipod is way too wide! My jaw dropped when I saw how wide the stud was. Most sling-swivel studs are

The original mounts are not limited edition mounts. How can they be told apart?

I'm very sorry. That's not something I can help you with. The only thing I can say is that this item fit perfectly I own a Magnum 700

Can I use this with the archangel aa700la precision stock to attach my Harris ?

You can mount this on any item with an M-style mounting hole It is an LOK device. With the Archangel stocks, you can either install a bipod or install a sling mount forward to use the stock's bipod. Please accept this as my sincere apology.

A bipod can be mounted on the x22 stock using an appropriate Picatinny mount, how does that work?

My memory is vague as to whether I used this with a VersaPad You can mount a pod on this

This is the best stock for metal
3/5

Due to the fact that it comes with M-pod mounts, I bought this Magpul product to add a bipod to my Magpul Hunter Rem 700 stock The front sling stud is missing but there are LOK slots. This mount was priced relatively highly, which made me expect it to be of good quality. The following methods have both been used by me It is a concept I'm familiar with having used LOKs and Keymods in the past. Mounting this product is made easy with the included machine screws and tee nuts. Unfortunately, the screws have an extremely thick coating of cream applied to them- An epoxy compound in the loctite style. It is only with great difficulty that the screws can be tightened into the tee nuts because of this "loctite. " You won't be able to tighten these screws unless you're holding the tee nuts with a wrench/pliers and pushing on the long end of the hex key. To be more accurate, the tee nuts stripped out of the M-bolts when the force was applied My stock has a lot of LOK slots. As the barreled action was disconnected from the stock, I had to pull it off so that I could secure a backup wrench to the tee nuts. M- is at odds with its purpose, and it seems to defeat the entire intent It is a concept represented by the LOKs. This product may work as expected if you have a handguard made from alloy or if you plan to use your own plain (uncoated) machine screws. In any case, you should ensure that you can get wrenches on the backside of the mount when I wish you the best of.

It will not allow mounting of the Magpul Sling - I'm a student Bipod should be attached
3/5

A bipod bought to allow the use of a conventionally mounted camera and a bipod that's attached to it Armed with a rifle that has a sling - It contains an AR and a stud. During the original build, I had already mounted one on the handguard - but it was discovered after the order was placed - I could have removed it if I wanted - There are other ARs I can mount the plate onto though, so it's not a huge deal. The only difference is that this plate, made by Magpul, will not allow you to use A clamp attached to a bipod will not close over the stud, EVER. This paragraph discusses That's all there is to it.

I'm happy with how things are going

I will update as soon as problems arise. It was primarily for the purpose of adding a bipod attachment that I added a sling stud. It appears to be a pretty solid performer. Google & co took a little bit of my time The best way to attach the M-clip is to watch the video on YouTube I had to lock the nuts and screws, but I did so while the item was on its Thought one of their engineers could come up with an easier way to hook it up - it wasn't too bad but I would have preferred if they had included more user-friendly instructions. The above is just a quick note. There should be no problems with the system, as it is quite solid.

Solidly mounts and is easy to install
5/5

Anyway, it was a good deal. It took me longer to figure out how to put it on after watching the videos and instructions. The threads are "sticky," so you can't turn them with a hand. I had to screw the screws into the nuts, then take it on and off a few times, and find the right sized allen wrench, otherwise I would have destroyed the heads. This device was mounted to a Geissele freefloat handguard and now it's almost as if it was part of it.

I found installing it to be extremely frustrating
3/5

We followed the instructions, watched a video, and got the tools we needed. The lock did not I got fed up and took the parts off the rifle, using pliers I ran the bolt through the nut a few times and the problem was resolved. This bolt from the factory was not cross threaded, but it had too much locktite on it. As soon as I worked all the gunk off, I was able to mount it in no time with pliers, then reinstall it suggestion to anyone using this is to run the bolts through the nuts a few times to work the stuff off the threads, then you should be able to mount the unit I'm giving it fewer stars because it's a disappointment for the materials, bolts and nuts for this high price, and the installation is a mess since the bolts are covered in gunk. It might be a better idea to say that you should test fit the bolt and nut first, so you don’t get annoyed.

That is exactly what I needed to use my Magpul Bipod on my The Magpul M-90 is the product I purchased I wanted to use my Magpul® Bipod - Sling Stud QD (MAG1075) on two rifles so I could use the mount on both rifles without moving it from one The Magpul Sling Stud QD bipod mount that comes with this gun is the same exact mount I purchased at the time
5/5

I read a one star review in which the writer stated, "It's thicker than standard sizes. ". He must be referring to a Magpul bipod mount because he says that it is the perfect fit. There might be something else going on that isn't specified This Magpul bipod has a narrower (and inferior quality) stud than the ones in Magpul bipods. I can assure you that this Magpul M-V3 bipod will perform much better if you already own a Magpul Sling Stud QD bipod You can mount your bipod to the LOC Bipod Mount PERFECTLY. One of the one star reviews I read stated that there was a gap between his bipod and the hand guard when he used the Due to the fact that he is trying to affix what appears NOT to be a Magpul bipod to the Magpul mount, there is a gap. It appears he needs an adapter (which comes with the Magpul Sling Stud QD bipod) so that there will not be a gap between the bipod and the handguard. He says the screws were soft and they stripped when he tried to unscrew them. The screws we are talking about When you use the right size of Allen wrench, the screws will withstand repeated insertions. It is a set of accessories designed for LG phones). You will need to tighten the screws and T-nuts a bit more if you have trouble installing It is a bit difficult to install the T-nuts (like another reviewer mentioned), but the Magpul website also has written instructions and YouTube videos showing how to install it Watch YouTube videos about nuts (Search This Magnum M-style pistol comes with a pistol grip This "LOK Tutorial" will make you familiar with how to use it A brief introduction and set-up for the first time). You don't need a PhD to figure this out.
The bottom line is that this is an excellent product that will outlast inferior quality ones. The Magpul Sling Stud QD bipod works flawlessly with it. Do not use a non-Magpul bipod. Give it to your neighbor, and buy a Magpul bipod instead. (I'm not from.

Ensure that the threadlock is clean enough so that the screws will thread easily and not strip
5/5

You can put this on a PSA Gen2 AR10 with a lightweight Mlock forend, but as others have pointed out, it comes with threadlock on the screws, making installation more difficult. It was easy to install the screws after I put some PB blaster on the threads then cycled them until they were easier to thread, dried them off really well, then installed them. I slid my Harris bipod on snugly and it fit perfectly. A little threadlock stayed on the screws and kept them The mood is very good.
