Questions & Answers

Is this a pivot bipod or a non-pivoting bipod?

This bipod pivots and swivels, as the name implies.

What makes this different from http: //www. amazon. com/gp/product/B0014VQ0RG/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2? com/gp/product/B0014VQ0RG/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2? UTF8 ie=UTF8 ie=UTF8 ie= ?

Swivel is represented by the letter "S." When standing on uneven ground, the rifle will be slanted to the right ("1 o'clock") or left ("11 o'clock") when looking down. You can simply twist or "swivel" the rifle back to 12 o'clock instead of trying to adjust the legs to different lengths.

Is it possible to lock the bipod in a level position with the pod loc or "s" lock, or is it only possible to tighten the swivel resistance?

It lets you adjust the swivel's resistance.

It looks like it's a copy
3/5

After receiving it and mounting it and firing a few rounds, I noticed that it did not say "Made in USA. " Also, after mounting it and firing a few rounds, it fell off the gun several times due to the tightening knob slipping out of position. When I contacted Harris, they stated that if the cross plate is not stamped "Harris" Made in USA, it is not a Harris and is most likely a Chinese copy! Fortunately, Amazon will let me return it, and I'll get the next one directly from Harris.

Remove yourself from the equation
3/5

Harris isn't one of them. Do not make a purchase. THIS IS NOT A HARRIS ON THE OTHER HAND. IT'S AN EXTREMELY EXTREMELY EXTREMELY EXTREMELY EX BUYING IS A MISTAKE.

I had high hopes for this
3/5

I had heard such good things about Harris Bipods that I decided to invest in one. The swivel tightener wouldn't tighten, so after a few tries (and before leaving on a trip), I decided to disassemble it and replace it with the handle I bought. The rod was bent when I bought it, so it wouldn't come apart soon after I started. I cut it off in the hopes of getting a replacement, but Harris has not responded to my four attempts to contact them. A company is only as good as the products it stands behind, and it appears that they don't care.

Superb
5/5

I was on the fence about getting one, but I'm glad I did. Although the more affordable bipods are adequate and do the job, this one is much smoother to use and the weight isn't as heavy as others. I decided to go with a 9-year-old. To clear the grass height, measure 13 inches. Use a shooting stick if the grass is particularly tall. Because this one is hinged, I strongly advise you to purchase a Bipod lock, Alpha-style. Whether it's Cadwell or the S-word, it's a win-win situation. lock. I thought I could get away without one because my hands are quite strong and I can get it pretty tight, but it still moves slightly. When you're laying prone and trying to concentrate on your breathing, aim, trigger pull, down range target, or moving animal, you don't want to be fiddling with the bipod. br>br>It works well with my 308 rifle, and Harris bipods are well worth the money.

Bipod is fantastic
5/5

This bipod is fantastic. Exceptionally strong and stable. The only criticism I have is that it is quite heavy, but I doubt it would be as sturdy without it. I debated whether or not to purchase the shorter or longer legs. I was debating whether to go with the shorter or 9-minute version. 13". I'm 6'4" and 210 pounds, and the 9-year-old is 6'4" and 210 pounds. Set to 9-inch, 13" is ideal for me. At up to 250 yards, 10" shooting from a prone position on the ground at pigs slightly downhill. From a bench rest set at a longer length, it works just as well. This is an excellent product.

Great Bi- Pod! This bi-weekly is one of my favorites
5/5

pod! Four of them are in my possession. They have never let me down, despite the fact that I visit the range at least once every two weeks. Outstanding craftsmanship! Harris, in my opinion, is the best bi-sexual actor. There are pods on the loose! In comparison to many "other" bi-folds, they are quite pricey. There are a variety of pods available, but you get what you pay for. Spend the extra money on a bi-fold mirror for yourself. You're not going to have to replace this pod anytime soon.

Harris is a good guy
4/5

This is one of the most well-known bipod brands, so I decided to buy it. This design, as far as I can tell, hasn't changed much. The only issue I have is with the swivel knob. It's impossible to really tighten it down because of its position. To properly torque it down, you'll need to replace the knob with a lever. They're not too expensive. Only the rubber feet are something else I would change. A softer, stickier rubber would be preferable for benchrest shooting, in my opinion. Those are minor annoyances that aren't worth getting worked up about. breaker. For benchrest, 13 inches is ideal, and for prone, it's not too bad. Downward shots, on the other hand, would necessitate a drop in elevation.

The pivoting feature is extremely useful, and I would not recommend purchasing a bipod without it
5/5

The product performs exactly as it should. The pivoting feature is extremely useful, and unless you only shoot from a perfectly level surface, I wouldn't recommend purchasing a bipod without it. These bipods are more durable, less expensive, and lighter than the majority of their competitors. My only piece of advice for this product is to put a drop of blue loctite on the tensioning screw to keep the bipod from coming loose.
