It is made up of blocks that are tightened with an Allen wrench. It will fit MOE handguards in general; I'm not familiar with older versions of MOE handguards, but if they have the same hole, it will fit. I hope this information is useful.
I'm afraid I won't be able to respond to that. The device was made by an American company, but if it's like so much these days, I'm guessing it was made in China.
This piece serves as a mounting point for any sling-mounted bipod. It will work if your bipod is attached to a sling swivel.

I tried to install it on a SCAR, and while it was relatively simple, the bipod mount broke off after I attached it and tightened the thumb screw (obviously by hand). You've got to be kidding me, I thought to myself. Steel is required, as others have stated. Moreover, there is no quality control. Look for another activity. It's not even worth it to return. I'm on my way to the garbage can.
This item is fulfilled by Amazon, so it's not a big deal if you need to replace it. I ordered one, but it arrived with paint chips and oil all over it, as well as a missing tool. This was clearly used as well as a return. I ordered a replacement, and guess what? It had paint chips and oil all over it, plus a missing nut and bolt. "Used" and "may or may not come with all items" should be added to your CVLife description.
In my case, I'm using a precision rifle with a bipod mounted on it. It is required for this rifle and will allow the shooter to aim more precisely. The addition of a sling stud without the use of an additional rail results in a much more solid and durable connection.
A total of four screws were included in the package. They were all of varying lengths. One of the screw tips (the shortest) pressed against the rifle barrel when I installed the Adapter. This is a huge stumbling block in terms of accuracy. I used an o-ring to shim the screw. ring. It was still in contact with the barrel.
It's obvious that this item has been used. There are nicks all over the paint, as well as what appears to be oil on it. It gets the job done, but I won't be using this vendor again.
To find an adapter that would work with my bipod, I had to buy three different ones. The issue is that there is still too much wiggle in the connection when the bipod is fully secured to the adapter. This is caused by the adapter's stud's size (length and width). BLACKHAWK Sportster Adjustable Bipod, Pivot and Traverse, 9" - This bipod isn't compatible. 13".
For what it's worth, the bios adapter is excellent. Just keep in mind what you're going to mount it on. Because it isn't contoured to fit with a round rail, it will have gaps on the edge if mounted on an AR15 with a round handguard. With the help of my, I mounted it on a Magpul hunter stock. 22 and it sits flush all around due to the relatively flat bottom of the fore end. Just something to think about if small gaps and things bother you. Aside from that, it's a great deal.
This is one of those small accessories that appears to be difficult to come by at the moment, but the entire M-series is available. The concept behind loc is to keep things as simple as possible. This piece is ideal for attaching a sling and/or a bipod. It only took about 2 minutes and there were no instructions needed. Excellent quality; extra screws are included.
