No, it isn't magic, but it does a better job at getting rid of lead than most other cleaners I've used. It works like a charm on rimfire suppressors.
The suppressor baffles that I use for my 22lr are made out of it. Overall, it seems to work pretty well

Cleaning a pool this way will save you a lot of time. I am 22. It took me about 30 patches and countless brush passes with a cleaning agent I've used on 22s for years to clean one aluminum barrel with steel insert that fouls up after about 50 shots. Rimfire Blend cleaned this barrel, and every other 22, in less than 10 patches. I checked the cleanliness of my bore with the same one A Gel for Tech's Chameleon However, some traces of carbon remain, so another two patches soaked in Rimfire Blend to follow Chameleon are used to remove them. I highly recommend it.
It did not live up to my expectations, but I am still pleased with it. In five days, I soaked a compensator in it and not a single gram of lead or carbon was pictures below) It does remove carbon and dirt when used with a brush and a rag, however, I could not detect any removal of lead. I think it works better than soap and water, but not to the level where I would consider it more worthwhile than other solvents or simply a gallon The only product that gets rid of lead fouling on a computer that I've encountered is a screwdriver. In defense of boretec, I've yet to find another product that will.
I disagree with this particular product, as there are so many other products that work significantly better. If you would like to save money, buy one of the other bio friendly cleaners, such as M7 or GreenMicro. For those who are ok with the smell and distillates, you can go with CLP/Hoppes.
This is what I use on my Henry 001 and it adds overall build up to the instrument. Since I have used many products from Bore Tech, I have found them to be fantastic, including patches, cleaners, and disinfectants.
It's a 5 out of 5. In the pistol barrel of a 22 lr pistol, there were heavy deposits of lead. There were a number of other solvents we tried, but none of them And finally, I used the Blue Wonder and the It was a good result. Bore Tech's Rimfire Blend is all that's needed to restore the barrel to its original state. I don't see how it can be a one-shot deal The hitch- While the cleaner may not be able to handle heavy fouling, it is still acceptable for 'normal' cleaning. Furthermore, there is no smell at all. It is always YMMV when it comes to rimfire.
For cleaning a revolver, I've found this to be the best carbon remover I've ever used. This carbon remover can dissolve even the toughest buildup from the cylinder face, which other products will not do. The Bore Tech product line is highly recommended.
A simple yet effective way to remove the fouling that is.
I found it to be very easy to use and worked well. Several other Bore Tech products are in my possession, and they work without a hitch.
