Magpul's stock would definitely be a good choice. Also, yes to that as well, if it's the metal sling mount I am referring to that attaches to the threaded cap.
Especially for the price, I think this is the most versatile sling I've ever owned.
I would recommend that, but I would also consider trying the Magpul Rhodesian Sling, which may be better suited to a traditional rifle. I have one of these on my Ruger Scout If you want a tactical sling to work on a traditional rifle or shotgun, you will have to move the mounting points, at least the rear mounting point. Using the Rhodesian sling or African carrying system, a rifle can be mounted very quickly with a quicksling
The sling does not come with any attachments.

It is impossible for me to believe it is a I did receive it in Magpul packaging, but there was no Magpul marking on the clasps or buckles, and there was nothing close to what was shown in that I received had a bungee type strap that was all one piece and just snapped into place. You could not modify the cheap clasp and it could not be removed. It is a real disappointment.
This sling has been worn on duty for approximately 800 hours, and it is well worth the money. I am using a Magpul paraclip in conjunction with a Magpul QD adapter that is intended for AR15s. Basically, it seems like the sling can be adjusted to an infinite degree. You can remove any excess fabric by using the clips at the end of the sling and these clips help keep the slack out. The slide adjuster should be placed in the middle, and then the end can be adjusted to where you want the sling to rest. By sliding the slider, you will be able to adjust the length by about 6 inches. I was surprised at how well the slide feature worked, and I like the way it seems to work. As long as the rifle is hanging or the sling has a slight tension, two fingers are all that's needed to adjust the sling. You can do it quickly and effortlessly. No issues have ever come up with it adjusting or loosening on its own. It is true that the sling became extremely stiff after it got During my duty shift, I spent about an hour in the rain (always fun), and the next morning, when I pulled my rifle out of its case, I found the sling felt like it had been glued all over. For the material to become somewhat pliable, it had to be bent and flexed for several hours. It has not been the same since then. I ordered the coyote brown sling, which will stain easily. Be aware that nylon is not as low maintenance as leather. In other words, it's nylon cord. No proprietary fabric has been created for this sling by Magpul. Here is a product that you can't go wrong with. The sling attachment point is on the end of the buttstock of the rifle. It can be wrapped through the buttstock or the attachment point of the sling. Make sure you check out this item if you want something that will last a long time.
After reading some reviews, I was worried, but once I received my sling, I was impressed by how well it appeared to be a genuine Magpul product, new with its original In every case, the plastic parts kepters and sliders were properly stamped "made in USA" and marked with the MAGPUL mark. In addition to the patent number, the slider also included its serial number. It is quite different from other slings in the sense that it is almost silky like, so I can understand if some people were put off by how soft the ballistic nylon is. This, my friends, is a great My Magpul slings are superior to every nylon sling I have used, and the webbing they use now is the best I've seen. I like how soft it is, yet it seems just as strong as or even My main use is with an AR-15 which is attached to a paraclip on the front and directly threaded into one of the stock's slots at This is a highly recommended book.
The first time I used it, I placed it on backwards (didn't read the diagram with the packaging), but once I made sure it was in the correct position, it was incredibly easy to use. Having a sling that allows you to be able to bring out or take in the length makes it easier to obtain a comfortable fit when carrying and then bring it out when shooting. In the future, if I needed another of these, I'd definitely buy another.
It came with a magpul stock that I bought for the Remington 700 308 tactical. My intention was to give this a try since it isn't a "run and gun" type of rifle. Everything so far has been Above and beyond what you would expect from Magpul. It's nice to be able to lock into standing shots with the adjustability of the.
I have four of them on several rifles and they are a great addition to the guns. It does take a little time to get them adjusted to each gun, but it's well worth it. I wish you were named Mikey, so you can say he approves. I like it, so will Jeff, and i'm sure you will too.
so that it works as a sling over my left shoulder, using my right hand to grasp the sling and to swing it up, locking it around my left elbow to serve as a shooting platform, but still quickly slides tight against the was able to jam it through a 1" swivel without a problem. A superbly tough and well-made product made in the United States.
I am looking for a sling for my black rifle, and since it already has Magpul furniture on it, I decided to get a new sling from them. It works great, is extremely simple, and the Magpul stock and foreend already have slots for mounting the sling, so I was able to skip buying any The product is made in the USA, and is of high quality.
