That is correct, and it is fantastic. The money spent was the best money spent. Check out my post, I have pictures, where I throw 6 semiautomatics in there with my gear headset to glasses by guns. When I go to the range, however, I stack my ammo box on top and wheel both of them in.
Yes. It can fit full-size 1911 pistols in it.
According to the website, the maximum length of a pistol is 8 5/8". The Glock 17L is 8. 85" I'd say yes, there's plenty of padding to trim, but those are the specifications.

First and foremost, the shipping was quick: 3 days from California to the Midwest, which is impressive considering it was free shipping. Second, before making the purchase, I called Case Club with a few questions. They were also extremely helpful and eager to answer any questions that I had. This portends excellent customer service. br>br>Now, back to the case. I was hesitant to purchase a Case Club case because of my previous experiences. I own a Pelican 1600 and two 1550 cases, which I primarily use to transport knives (in vehicles) and occasionally ship knives and guns (via air transport), and I have no reservations about the Case Club case now that I've gotten my hands on it. This is a well-made case that will easily withstand normal use as well as, I believe, the rigors of air travel. The Case Club case is nearly as good as the Pelican case in my opinion. Despite the fact that both cases' lids flex when opened, I believe the Pelican is slightly more durable. br>br>I packed the case with six pistols, ranging from a Glock 34 to a RIA double stack 1911 TCM, each with a mag inserted in the gun and a spare in each of the separate mag cut outs. The mag sections have inserts as well (clever) so you can snugly fit single stack mags or remove the insert and put a double stack mag in. Everything was a perfect fit. br>br>Then there's the section on accessories. It's 4 1/2" wide by 10 1/4" long by 4 1/2 deep. In a hard case, this fits a large pair of hearing suppressors and shooting glasses. There isn't much room for anything else, but that's all I needed to fit in the case in the first place. Also, the accessory section comes with two 2 1/4" thick foam blocks stacked on top of each other, so if you only need that section to be 2 1/4" deep, you can remove one of the blocks. br>br>With the case fully loaded (no rounds in the mags), I could easily carry it by the handles, but the pull out handle and wheels were a huge help. The wide and flat pull-out handle is comfortable to use. So I stacked my ammo in one of those canvas military tool bags on top of the case against the pull out handle, secured it with a bungee cord, and now I have everything I need for a full day at the range in a portable package that will keep my guns safe from the elements. And it comes in a package that's both smaller and lighter than my soft-sided range bag. br>br>Here are a few ideas. This case isn't designed to carry revolvers; the foam would have to be cut differently for wheel guns, so I'll probably get a smaller case for revolvers. Alternatively, you could contact Case Club to have the same closed cell foam used in this case custom cut to fit one of my Pelican 1550s. br>br>To summarize, great company, great product, and I am blown away by the attention to detail. From the spring-loaded latches (which are easier to open than Pelican), to the included moisture-absorbing canister, to the soft rubberized handles, everything about this case is top-notch. This case outperforms my Pelican cases in almost every way. I have no reservations in recommending Case Club. br>br>I've only had the case for a few days, but I wanted to record my first impressions. br>I'll update this review after about six months of use.
Case Club offers the best value for money, in my opinion. Many other cases are more expensive, but they are built similarly, and none of them have the same level of pre-fabrication. Waterproofing locking options are provided by the cut foam in this kit and thoughtful design details. It has an indestructible quality to it. It comes highly recommended!.
First and foremost, I'd like to point out that this was an issue with TWO of the same cases I ordered. When closing the first case, one of the latches on the front left side of the case would not snap into place. The other three latches all slammed shut solidly, tightly, and audibly. To open these three, you'll need quite a bit of force. The fourth required very little pressure to close and did not even grab when latching. This case was processed and returned right away. During the return process, Amazon was extremely helpful and promptly replaced the item. It had the same problem with the same latch when it arrived. It appears that there is a problem with the case's molding. I chose to keep this case, and it has now been about two weeks. While it does the job, I'm torn because nothing else in this price range is available for a case like this, and I still feel like I'm getting less than I paid for.
I've bought three of these so far, and they're great for organizing and protecting your belongings. I did a 10-hour test in my pool while the kids were having fun. They sunk it, tossed it around, and it came out unscathed. It was only 8 pounds when I weighed it. I'm going to buy more.
That is precisely what I was looking for! It's a great product at a great price, and it makes it simple to keep track of everything for trips to the range.
Everyone who has seen it at my club has been blown away. Six 1911s with red dot sights and extended magazines can be stored in this case. Almost perfect, though I wish they had added cut-outs for muffs, glasses, tool kit, magazines, etc. br>br> In the foam between each barrel slot, there are cutouts for an extra single stack magazine. This case, however, remains one of my favorites.
All of the latches, foam cutouts, and padding have a professional appearance to them. I bring my gun to the range with me, but I also keep it at home. I currently own three of these and plan to purchase more in the future. Although Pelican and SeaHorse are both excellent brands, the value of CASE CLUB cases cannot be denied. This purchase has left me with no regrets.
I've been looking for a multi-pistol case for quite some time and have finally found one. The gun case is of excellent quality. The only gripe I have is removing the foam for the mags, but once that's done, you're done. The only change I would make is to have more cutouts for more magazines rather than a large open area for things. I'll be placing an order for another case as soon as possible.
