Questions & Answers
To begin, remove the foam plug from between the center two pistols (shown in the product images as that shiny rectangle). Second, take the canister of silica gel out of its bag. Finally, replace the silica gel canister in the center cavity you removed in step one.
Because the hole is 1/4 inch in diameter, it should be able to accommodate most locks.
Pistols up to 13" in length can be folded with this device.

If you've ever used a Pelican Case, you'll love Case Club's version. It's built to last, and I'm confident it'll hold up to the abuse as well as the other guys' cases. The pre- Because you don't have to spend time exacto-cutting foam inserts, they're a big plus. You can cut or pull the shapes of your guns yourself. and-pluck, which is inconvenient. They have these pre-recorded messages set up in such a way that they can be They have a cut that would be difficult to achieve on your own, and they keep my revolvers in place nicely. The only drawback is that it is a little too small. There isn't a lot of "extra" storage space on the other hand. The photos show a shallow and a deeper side to the space to the left, but mine did not have the deeper side pre-installed. cut. I believe I am capable of cutting it myself, but that would defeat the purpose! I'm going to leave it alone so I don't cut into the hollow space beneath it, which is where the longer barreled guns go. Besides, I'm primarily using this for storage rather than transportation; aside from that, it's a great case at a great price, and I'll definitely buy from Case Club again if the need arises.
I've only used it to get to and from the range, as well as to get around some rural property. It performs admirably. It has been raining for a minute or two, but that is the extent of the adverse weather. br>br>It has a smallish compartment that can hold four pistols or revolvers, as well as a large number of magazines. It appears to be well-made, and the fact that it can hold multiple padlocks is a plus. I like that I can secure it to the seat frame in my truck with some chain and an extra padlock, so if I stop for breakfast on the way, I won't have to worry about it. br>br>While I can't speak to how well it would withstand the elements over time or under extreme conditions, it appears to be sturdy enough to bounce around in the back of a truck without causing damage. They'd be fine because the contents are snug in their slots.
This is a case that belongs to the SKB group. I've been using them to safely transport expensive musical instruments (guitars, keyboards, etc. ) for the past ten years, so they're a company I trust with my gear. br>br>I've been on the lookout for the ideal "range bag" for my wife and me, but I'm not a bag person. I prefer a hard case with a lot of protection. This case comes with a rubber gasket and delivers. In the rain, I wouldn't hesitate to carry this. The pre- cut foam is well-designed and performs admirably. I haven't put the "waterproof" claim to the test. I have no intention of doing so. At about half the price of the "sea bird" brand, and with no foam to cut or pluck, it appears to be comparable. It's suitable for barrels ranging from 2" to 6". What I was looking for. The revolver model is the subject of this review. However, I'm confident that the one they make for semi-professionals is excellent. Automobiles would be equally effective.
The bottom foam appears to be in one piece on the inside. However, a closer look reveals that it is pre-fabricated. cut to allow for the removal of pieces for a more personalized fit My new Ruger Mark IV didn't seem to fit at first, but I discovered that one or more blocks under the grip could be removed to allow it to fit lower in the case. And a closer look at the recessed area on the left revealed that more pieces could be removed for magazine storage, etc. When removing pieces, don't throw them away. They could be used to custom fit an auxiliary piece like a revolver cylinder into one of the unused pistol positions in the future. The only criticism I have is that an illustration sheet showing all of the pieces that can be removed to allow customization was not included.
Both revolvers and semiautomatic pistols are compatible. Pistols that fire automatically The case is very nice and sturdy. It's not quite Pelican quality, but it's very nice and made of thick, durable plastic. This one is compatible with both revolvers and semiautomatic pistols. It holds both types of pistols very securely, and the foam inside can be easily adjusted for different gun sizes; I can fit four large frame handguns in here without difficulty. Padlocks or TSA-approved locks can be used in the large holes. If you have several handguns or are going to the range with friends and want to transport them all in one case, this is a great case to bring. The latches close with a snap and can then be twisted to tighten them even more. At this range, I get a lot of compliments on my case.
Because I own both revolvers and pistols and want to be able to take a mix to the range, I needed a case that could accommodate both. I was pleasantly surprised to find cutouts for pistol magazines in this revolver case. I didn't expect such a nice touch. Both the case and the foam insert appear to be of excellent quality. 357 8- I like that the foam cutout material is included so you can adjust the height of the compartments using the various height layers of foam. Shot revolver pushes the width limit of the slot, but it will work fine.
I use it for five revolvers, four of which are in the slots that have been designated for them, and one of which is a S revolver. In the extras tray, you'll find W 642. My shortest revolver is 5 inches in length. It's 5" in diameter and fits perfectly, with no movement during transportation. Parts of foam can be easily removed to adjust the fit.
