The lids easily slide off, but they are the right size

They can't be clipped together as there is nothing to secure them. It's not uncommon for the case to separate when you grasp it. Usually, this isn't something to be concerned about, but it can be annoying sometimes.

This is not very good, and I do not recommend it. As it was, the plastic box I received had sticker residue on it and there was a crack in the lid, so it did not fit as well as it should have. Not sure if I'd purchase this again, but it was OK.
