The aluminum shell is very light, but it has a solid feel to it. The green laser is extremely bright, as well as light and strobe-friendly. This isn't appropriate for a Springfield neighborhood. However, compact pistols should be used properly. The unit is kicked up by the back hitting the trigger guard. It's also not centered on the rail, which causes everything to fall out of place. Before I ordered it, I double-checked that it would fit my Springfield Subcompact XD- I asked if it would be okay if I was 40, and the answer was yes. Wrong. Take a look at the images provided. I'll be returning it.
After fully charging the unit, I used the laser and light for about 2 minutes before putting it in my gun safe for the night. When I went to turn on the light and laser the next day, the battery had completely died. I've re-charged the device twice more with the same result! Avoid this device at all costs.
Fits Walther P22, PK380, and similar pistols.
Before I even fire my Glock, I do some spot work. br>I charged it twice and it died after a few hours. br>They won't give you a refund. br>br>Do not purchase it. Terrible.
I installed this combo on my Walter and took it to the range to zero it in, but I misplaced the accessories that I keep in a small pouch in my range bag, which included two Allen wrenches used to adjust the laser dot to bulls eye accuracy, as well as the magnetic micro USB connector used to charge the battery since this combo is rechargeable with built-in battery level indicator. br>I contacted Laspur for assistance, and Jet Li, the person at their office, was able to assist me. The customer service is outstanding!.
It's a good sight for the money. With only aligning the dot with open sights, the POI was on and visible. It was mounted to a 20GA Shockwave with POI attached as well. For alignment, a slightly smaller bore is used. It's a little tricky to press the correct button, but it's doable. able. I had some on/off issues with the 20GA, but I think it was just because I wasn't properly tightening it to the rail. On the 45, I tightened it up nicely and had no issues. It's a nice combination of laser and light. For laser/strobe, laser/light, and laser only operation, I'd prefer a single switch. That's how it went down.
I initially thought this was a good laser and gave it a positive review based on my initial impressions. What I thought was a minor problem has now grown into a major problem after about six months. There are two set screws that must be positioned up and down, as well as left and right, in order to align the laser. It was difficult to get sighted in when I first lined it up because it didn't go smoothly into position. After all this time, and despite never firing a shot, I noticed it had vanished from view. So no matter what I try, I can't get it to align again. It doesn't move left or right, up or down; instead, it moves in a strange circular pattern, never getting far enough in any direction. I'd return it if I had the option. The excellent light and charging system are the only features that remain. If anyone else has this issue, everyone should avoid it.
