Magpul X-22 Backpacker Stock for Ruger 10/22 Takedown

It's the perfect size for my Take Down Target model. Added a Sig Sauer Romeo5 red dot sight to the frame, as well as the optional Magpul optics mount. Fits into the Ruger case, is light and comfortable. I don't think this stock would be an improvement over the stock on the Ruger. This is a very light and comfortable gun case. It snaps together and fits into the main pocket of "Optic height" risers are exactly what you need for a small scope, and they leave enough space in the storage compartment for three magazines along with a boresnake to fit without rattling. The perfect gift for any woman! You're the best! It is a wonderful stock for my Ruger 10/22. I am under 5 feet tall on my tiptoes and I prefer it over more bulky stocks. I have tried multiple aftermarket stocks, but this is the one I prefer. As far as lightness goes, it is as light as can be, and it is very easy to replace. Furthermore, I believe the length of pull on the rifle is shorter than that of a standard rifle, so I have to get it adjusted constantly. There is an accessory butt pad available from Magpul for users who need it to increase the length of pull. I am using the one that has an extra high cheek pad for optics, and it's the one I am wearing. Yes, I am. While there is a bit of a gap, it is less than other aftermarket One or two extra 10-round magazines can be stored in the stock, or one 10-round magazine can be stored with one box of ammunition. Also, there are storage spaces in the grip area for cleaning snakes or battery packs for optics. I think that's an excellent idea. The rifle still is very lightweight, even though I have a Bushnell Dusk to Dawn scope mounted on it. A sling mount and an extra takedown screw would be nice to have, but they're not included. When I opened the one intended for optical items, I found it easier to open the 1-inch diameter one. The stock one I got was really tight, I'm not sure how tight it was, but it was a minor gripe. Anyway, if you own a 10/22TD, then In real life, it's a pretty dark OD green, which is fine by me, but if you're looking for maybe an older worn OD look, this is not the one. With this, you can take down your Ruger 10/22 much easier. This is a great rifle for 10/22 takedown shooters. It seems impossible to me now to have one without the other The stock price is 22. A few pros. Please note that Extra magazines and other items can be stored in the stock (inside the stock)
- I prefer this stock since it is strong (better than the original)*- (I thought it would be more secure than it actually was)
- The barrel and forestock are snugly fitting into the buttstock. It is a good idea to have a surface with a textured finish for when it is damp. A negative result. Please note that This firearm does not come with QD inserts or sling mounts (that cost more. ) Because your sightline is raised to a great height by the higher cheek riser, the original sights cannot be used. Please note that **The negative. It could have been cleaned up a bit more from the injection molding process (easy to do with a pocket knife or raiser blade)
**The positive. It might have caused me to lower the rating of most products by a half star or a star. I gave this stock a 5 1/2 out of 5 stars if I could, but it exceeded my expectations in all other areas. Magpul needs to make the MAG333 available on Amazon, AND they need to provide a graphic that explains the use of the swivel cups. I will upload one very soon here for people that are going to add slings to their MAG333 kit.
