Is this a silicone oil or one that is based on petroleum? My Benjamin Steel Eagle's piston seals will be harmed by petroleum-based oils over time. Air rifle with 22 rounds. ?

It won't harm the seals.

Is this rws spring cylinderoil worth the money and can I use it to lubricate my umarex dx17 spring-powered airpistol?

The gas spring is a nitrogen-charged cylinder, and the oil contains a rust inhibitor. These cylinders are used for die cushions where I work, and this oil is good for the seals.

Should the Umarex Octane be combined with this? Is there a gas piston air rifle with a 22-round magazine? I'm not sure if it's the same as the spring rifles in terms of components. ?

I put it on a Ruger 22 caliber break barrel and it worked great. Not so much with a gas piston air rifle.

This was purchased to be used on the main spring as well as the hinge and pivot points. I then proceeded to read the Warning Label. "Do not use on the trigger, barrel pivot hinge, or mainspring," the warning states. " I've attached a photo. That's why I bought it. br>br>It doesn't say whether it's made of petroleum, silicon, or something else. Jim K. br>br>.

I purchased it but have yet to use it. To put it another way, the container/dispenser should be easier to use. suitable for the oil's intended purpose.
