It won't harm the seals.
The gas spring is a nitrogen-charged cylinder, and the oil contains a rust inhibitor. These cylinders are used for die cushions where I work, and this oil is good for the seals.
I put it on a Ruger 22 caliber break barrel and it worked great. Not so much with a gas piston air rifle.

This was purchased to be used on the main spring as well as the hinge and pivot points. I then proceeded to read the Warning Label.
