As the temperature rises during the day, it drips, and then resets when the temperature falls during the Irrespective of whether the temperature is hot or cold, what makes it work is the change in temperature.
It appears that the scent I received from Amazon (or whomever they used) was a bad batch or very old. A DATE WAS NOT INCLUDED ON THIS PRODUCT (which is always printed). My first reaction to the bottle was that it had a plastic-like smell as soon as I opened it I think it smells like that. Even though I am not sure that it is the best way, I still used it on an active scrape, and it effectively made all the deer that were using this "Hot spot " stop visiting it almost instantly! (I know what you're thinking and yes I used the best scent control I could find. The area had been cleaned with rubber gloves, rubber boots, and Scent Killer spray to prevent contamination)
I found two other active scrapes nearby, so they haven't stopped.
Performing poorly was not a good sign. App for a hunting area for archery in the city. In this area, there is a lot of Bucks. Its absence especially during the day lasted only 8 days and did not produce many bucks. Other stands within 1/4 mile radius of the one where the same dollar bills were sported. The buck almost seems to have stayed away because of it. With the scent dissipating, the bucks moved in to take advantage of it The do so during the daytime, but not during the day time. The do so all the time, day and night alike. Attempted not to use the hunting application in a rural area.
My use of this date was just before our rut in Alabama late in the season. The first scrape I did in the new field had pictures of two large bucks regularly visiting and two does who seem to enjoy the area. In every scrape I visited, it was very clear that fresh footprints were used to make it. The doe appeared to have slept nearby for a while. I wish there had been more traffic at my location during the day Neither the product nor its packaging is at fault.
I am not sure whether it In the mock scrape, only one spike walked near the scrape and sniffed around for a few minutes before walking away. Within 100 yards of the first camera was another that captured bucks left and right as they walked through a deer trail during the same period. I'm not sure if I did anything wrong, but it didn't seem to attract too many people.

The product had a nice delivery time, and worked fine. It looked like it was well made, and may hold up well. My order for another one has been placed. The rest of the package can be given away as family Christmas presents.
There was no sign that it attracted deer based on the ingredients that were in it when filmed with a camera.
