These wicks haven't been pre-seasoned. scented. They're meant to be used with a hunting scent of your choice, which you'll have to buy separately.
Yes. They don't have any fragrance.
To attract animals, any urine used with the wicks is concentrated. It has a strong odor that will linger in the room for some time after it has been removed. If you put the wick in a quart-sized zipper freezer bag and zip it up properly, almost no odor will escape, or just toss it and use a new one the next time you go out.

These are fantastic! br>br>These are tough and will last for years if hung with a strong cord. They absorb a lot of scent, but they don't work as well if it gets cold enough for them to freeze solid. br>br>If you want to try something similar, unused tampons with a string already tied to them can work just as well. br>br>As a cover scent and attractant, these are excellent. br>br>At a time, I light two of these, stab them into the ground, and cover them with a bucket with holes drilled in it. br>br>I used a metal bucket with holes drilled about 4 inches from the bottom so the smoke would have to fill the bucket before billowing out the bottom. br>The bucket will last for years because, unlike plastic, it will not crack in extreme cold. br>br>I can't say enough good things about these!

These wicks should bring in the deer with the right scents and the right locations, and they are long lasting and very durable. To reseal and close these wicks, keep a plastic sandwich bag on hand. a fantastic product.
Hang these puppies anywhere you can get a whiff of doe. It's ideal for concealing your scent or luring a buck in. I use these to decorate my stand and the areas where I'm trying to entice deer to come in. I wish they'd give you a bottle to store it in. After that, I sealed the bag with a ziplock.
This is an excellent way to apply liquid or gel fragrances. For liquid scents, you can simply dip the wick into the bottle. Because the wicks come in a ziplock bag, you can return them to the bag and seal it. I was concerned that the staples used to secure the cardboard packaging to the bag would allow the scent to escape, but the staples are located above the bag's sealed portion. br>br>If you're using multiple scents, you might want to bring an extra ziplock.
These work, but natural cotton tampons and a zip lock bag will save you some money.
This is a purchase that I make every year. For the past 20 years, I've been using these. They are simple to use and flat work. And if I forget to take one out of the woods, I've found them still in good shape a year later.
