It is not poison to say no. The product is not for consumption by humans either. Through the scents in the mix, it will attract muskrats to the trap when used with trapping methods. The mix should be applied on a stick and put in a live trap or on top of a spring Despite being a scent base lure, this lure mix will not kill muskrats.
