It works! Many people, I'm sure, are doubtful that this will work
4/5

I’ve used it in the field for the entire deer season and will 100% back it up. I've had a lot of deer downwind of me, and I haven't been busted for my scent yet, aside from sniffing the air during strong winds. It's only because of the price that I'm giving it four stars; it's an investment. If you want to use it for an extended period of time, you'll need the $125 XL battery, which lasts 8 hours. Make sure you read up on how to use it correctly, as incorrect usage will have a negative impact on performance. In the end, it is the real deal when used correctly.

What is the worth of your time spent in the woods? I decided to buy this product for one reason: I wanted to spend more time in the woods
5/5

I happened to be in possession of a 160-pound bag of potatoes. During a photo shoot in my woods, a 170" ten point made himself visible. I knew the key to killing this buck was not letting him know I was after him and spending as much time as possible on the stand to improve my chances. I was dismayed to see the wind direction forecast in the days leading up to the weekend. I needed to be on standby, but I couldn't take the chance of the buck smelling me. Despite showering and washing my clothes in scent-free products, I had spooked a smaller buck the day before. My chances were being shattered by the wind. br>I was familiar with the Ozonics line and did extensive research before spending $300, ouch! But this was my only chance to get out on the stand, so I ordered it through Amazon Prime and it arrived in time for my Friday evening hunt. While the battery was being charged, I mounted the unit in my whackshack. The wind was gusty that afternoon, and it was not in my favor. I was pleasantly surprised when deer in the area, even those within 20 yards, had no idea I was there. Saturday morning, there was still a strong wind, so I gave it another shot. Deer in the area didn't seem to notice me this time. I went out again on Saturday evening to give it another shot. br>At this point, I'll tell you that if I didn't have the Ozonics unit, I wouldn't have even tried to hunt in the bad wind. But, once again, I had a deer within bow range that was completely unaware of my presence. The big ten then slowly walked into bow range, downwind of me, much to my surprise. At 23 yards, I fired a shot at a relaxed deer, who had no idea what hit him. He'd piled up 70 yards later. br>I bought the unit on Wednesday, it arrived on Friday, and I killed the biggest buck I've ever seen on Saturday. Is this for real? Isn't that amazing? Thank you so much, Prime and Ozonics! Is this a costly piece of equipment? Yes. But what is the value of your hunting time? It's possible that I'll never get another shot at this buck. If you're debating whether or not to spend the money, I strongly advise you to do so. I've used it, witnessed it in action, and can attest to its efficacy. br>It's simple to set up, mount, and operate; no deer heard it, and it didn't bother me when I heard deer approaching. Follow the instructions and watch videos to ensure that your needs are met. It takes a few hours to charge, but there are spare batteries on hand. I cannot speak for the use of tree stands at this time, but I am confident that it will work just as well. I'm also going to use it to deodorize my clothes. Get yourself some Ozonics and head out into the woods; you never know what you'll find!.

HR by Ozonics 230 I used the Ozonics HR-II for this project
5/5

On a morning hunt, there were 230 in the field. I had it locked on low and was ready to go. I wondered if the deer could hear it because there was a small noise. Some of the deer approached from the opposite direction, and they didn't seem to notice my signal. I had two deer under my stand at different times, and neither of them could hear what was going on. It appears to have aided in sent control, in my opinion. br> It takes a long time to recharge the battery. So, if you plan on hunting in the morning and evening, get two batteries. In standard mode, they'll last 5 hours, and in boost mode, they'll last 4 hours.

WOW! I rarely write reviews unless it is for a superior product
5/5

I purchased an OZONICS 230 with an XP battery, which lasts about 10 hours on boost mode and works in snow and rain (just make sure it is dry when you turn it on). If it isn't, it will dry out and make noises until it is dry enough to fire, which I'm not sure the company is aware of. Going through this mode usually takes about 20 minutes. When I killed a big buck and left it in the tree over night, I was so excited that I forgot about it until I went to bed. It began to rain late last night, and the nor'easter dumped three inches of snow on us. There were does all around the buck, which was less than ten feet away. When I use this product, the deer stare you down and act as if you aren't even present. This is an incredible product that can even be used for stalking.

The jury is still out on this one
3/5

This spring, I used it to go bear hunting; I couldn't tell if it made a difference because I was already looking for the wind. It was used in a pop-up shop. There was a lot of noise inside the ground blind, but nothing could be heard from the outside. Because ozone can cause a headache, make sure the unit is set up downwind of you and that the flow through the blind is set up according to the instructions. It's not set up properly if you can smell the ozone for a long time. This fall, when I go whitetail hunting with the grandkids, I'll be using it again. This should provide me with a better understanding of how well it works in practice. br>If you plan on hunting for longer periods of time, go ahead and purchase the extended battery. The one that comes with the unit has a 4 hour battery life.

Too loud! This is a very loud machine
3/5

I was expecting a lot. I bought it at the start of the season and waited until I had a chance to try it out properly. Don't waste your money if you're going to use it for bow hunting. Every deer within 45 yards of me was startled by the noise, which has a mechanical hum that does not sound natural. It performed admirably while hunting in a blind. I had several deer come straight downwind, including an old wary buck. I haven't tried it in a pop-up ground blind yet, but I don't think it'll be quiet enough.

Hoax
3/5

It lasted three days in my possession. The first day, a deer upwind looked around and realized something wasn't right. No negative effects on the second day, but there were no deer within 80 yards. The third day was so quiet that I couldn't hear the deer approaching because the fan was so loud. We had three different groups of deer look right at the same time, so we decided to blow and flee. I turned off the ozonics and continued to observe four other groups of deer who were not alert and had no idea I was there. I bought it in the summer and didn't use it until about 60 days after I bought it the first time, so it's past the 30-day return period. This is not an item to spend $300 on. It's obnoxious to say the least. Also, I believe the deer were alarmed by the noise rather than the scent it emits; however, I believe it would work fine in a strong wind.
