It is so easy to grab the hook, unscrew the top, pop the top that holds the wick out, then dip it in your lure after being soaked. It shouldn't be overfilled, it shouldn't spill, it should be just right. Immediately after the wick has been saturated, grab the hook, shake off any excess, if any, and put your buck lure back on. Just remove the wick top from the container and replace it with a tight fitting My favorite product I've ever used with scent lure is the easiest, cleanest and simply the best. I have not detected any then put them in the freezer along with the three other hanging dispensers. In the woods, I simply take one out of the freezer, stuff it in my pocket, and head out. Keeping your distance from the lure is important. I hang this product right above my stand so I don't get downwind of the scent. As I get close to my stand, I check the wind, and I hang it a little up wind of my stand. Once you remove the top and curl up the scent wick, you can reach up and pull down a limb, then hook the hook over the limb, slowly release the limb, and you are ready to go hunting. With the hook and umbrella top, raindrops are kept from entering the hook. you leave your stand, just go by the stand and take it down, then out of the woods if you wish. The wick should then be pushed back into the container with the hook. Keeping the lid on is easy, and the container can be placed back in your pocket when not in use. This is a clean, awesome, easy and simple to use theme. A scent dispenser was the best purchase I ever made. The best part about not smelling the lure while dispensing it is not having to smell it while dispensing it on yourself. In addition, it keeps the lure from attracting you. It is imperative for the scent dispensing at your stand not to mix with your human scent if it is in the appropriate location.
