On the ruler, none of the numbers are etched. So far, I haven't had mine for very long so I am not sure how well they will stand the test of time.

My favorite gaming board. Good weight, but not fragile. I use it all the time. It has a 1/4 inch increment that's needed for most tournaments. I use it a couple of times a week and it has been very durable. The fishing pipe is used by me on shore, in a boat, or in a kayak. It would be wonderful for this to come with the numbers and measurements engraved into the board, as well as the place to write on it.

One time, I took it fishing, and now the printing has disappeared! There should be engravings of them on the wall. This isn't worth the money! This is garbage.
The black writing on the board has disappeared after I used it twice. I took it out of the boat due to this problem. I find it of no use. There are two ways to achieve better printing quality either etch in the numbers and lines or use a higher quality paint/ink.
For good measurements, you need a good quality and an excellent design. My catch was always legal because I used it for leagues and competitions as well as for ensuring my catch was legal.
It has been a great buy for us since we first got it.
