This Masalong Karambit should be at the top of your list if you are looking for an excellent, affordable and therefore disposable EDC tool. It comes with a solid sheath and comes with a knock-down blade. A low-quality Tek Loc (it will do what it needs to do, but I prefer the locks of the brand name ones because of their locking claw mechanism).
With regard to the length and ergonomics of the handle, I only have one minor complaint. The very end of the blade near the hand is pointy, and it often touches the hand when deployed, which can cause a cut. It's no problem, just file or sharpen it dull or grind it out on a grind wheel or with a dremel in about 10 seconds. But be mindful of it. I bought this one (bottom in the picture) as well as the outdoor survival claw (top in the picture), both of which I enjoy equally, but for totally Somehow I think this one cuts better than the other one. The other, however, seems more ergonomic and faster. As a knife collector, black belt (2nd Dan), and concealed carry citizen, I have a lot of knives. We can carry guns in some cases, but knives are allowed in others. It consists of a steel blade shaped in a karambit style, which complements the form of martial arts that I practice. There is NOTHING IMPORTANT about the blade. It is always a concern for me how long the handle is in relation to the blade, but I have no issues with this one. The surgical gloves that I wear are size 8. A good balance can be found in the knife. It feels comfortable to hold and the grips are solid. Blade 3 is 3 in length. The fourth inch. There is a knockoff sheath of a major holster maker, but it works as it should. With a draw, the holster is absolutely perfect. I removed one spacer for my Bravo Concealment nylon belt. It slides around a bit, but with a draw, it is absolutely perfect. Carry your things with a cant or a side that you can adjust. Even though I can carry a fixed blade on either hand, it is much more convenient to carry a fixed blade on my left I was able to pull the cover from my dominant hand easily. Kydex has been used for the holster, and it is well built. My review is based on how pleased I am with the design, weight, and balance of this knife. I won't be using it as an EDC, which means I won't be carrying it around to perform routine A defensive tool only, it will serve as a deterrent. You should give it a try.
I've seen several reviews of other knives that Masalong produces that mention that they have taken a lot of heat for their stolen or copied designs. But this knife is exceptionally well built, the QC is great, and the edge is typical of most production knives and at this price point it's a fantastic Although I will keep an eye on this as I carry it, as I have read some reviews (on OTHER again) indicating that Masalong is prone to rusting. The only thing I don't like is the sheath design, but otherwise it's decent. The blade is retained, but the design is awkward and a poor choice for a karambit unless you intend to draw the knife forwards. That can be fixed with a dremel tool (and I will). As far as I am concerned, buying American products is my preferred choice Due to this reason, I haven't purchased from Masalong for some time now. On a whim, I decided to see if the knives they produce can be used as an EDC knife that does not cost a lot of money. In spite of the fact that I reserve the right to revise this review later on, my initial outlook is positive.
Those who want to buy this should be warned that it is a hidden gem with an awesome price, but you may have to wait as it traverses the world. I had a blade that was not very sharp, and sharpening a karambit with d2 steel takes time, as well as the blade is smaller than the appearance suggests. previously purchased another karambit from Masalong and though I was impressed by the design and versatility, I decided to go with this one so that I have a survival knife to carry in the wilderness. My review was similar to most others, in that I was pleased with the blade design and the sharpness of the blade. I disagree with this blade, as well as many other blades in the Masalomg line of knives, in that this model has no regard for the safety of the hand when it's held in an "ice pick grip. " In case of carelessness, you'll leave your pinky open to potential blade nicks. Moreover, the handle it has is suited for smaller hands, increasing the risk of an accident cutting a finger. Another thing worth noting is that the product is decent and can live up to its price tag. It would be nice if Masalong provided customers with the option of switching from right to left belt placement of the leather sheath. The leather sheath shouldn't be too expensive, even if it's increased a bit in price. There'd be a lot of value in.
There is no difference in size between the handle and the one on gil hibben's I never have seen a box like this one before. The majority of knives currently on the market are packaged in a plastic box and come with a plastic wrapper. Printed on card stock, this came packaged in plastic in a decent box surrounded by tissue paper. It is a perfect sheath made of Kydex. The knife is a razor sharp blade. The knife I wanted to buy was not yet in Amazon's fulfillment by Amazon so I waited until it was there. In the meantime, I strongly suggest you buy one of these when you have the chance. I have the same size karambit as my Fox Knives 478 karambit when unfolded. It is a beautiful knife, but not a safe one to hold, as the bottom of my hand gets too close to the blade itself.

The knife is comfortable, sturdy only the right amount of weight and is very well made. In addition to the good hand grip, the belt retention clip and the sheath are good in A karambit fits my hands comfortably even when I wear gloves that are extra large to xxl size. must say, however, its edge is close to my pinky so I will be dulling a 1/4-inch portion of the edge for my comfort because of my meaty fingers.
Keep in mind that it is not stainless steel and will rust if not maintained properly. The knowledge of that was good for me and it is not a problem. I just wanted to make sure that everyone is clear that the glove reference is to give you an idea of hand size. Do not try to wear gloves while using this knife as your finger will not fit into.
