How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

Closes with a zipper
COMFORT OVER THE LONG HAUL - The molded memory foam suspension of Badlands starts out comfortable, but just keeps getting better The reverse tightening feature on our waist belts allows you to pull the belt ends inward, rather than outwards, to give you the leverage you need to properly cinch your belt for maximum
ALUMINUM - An aircraft-grade aluminum pack frame has been a favorite material for years because of its strength and light We believed we could do better than that at Badlands, and we did so. We use a proprietary magnesium alloy in our frame stays that is twice as strong as T6 aluminum, and even lighter.
Introducing the new KXO-50 fabric, with all the features that you love about the KXO-32 fabric - it's insanely tough, extremely quiet, and totally You say there are differences, but what exactly is different? The weight of the KXO-50 is even lower. With the 2200, however, we did not stop there. The fabric is durable and water resistant, having Badlands' C6 Durable Water Repellent (DWR) treatment. Having dry gear for longer is due to the water beading on your gear and rolling off.
If you're going to use it, why damage your bow or rifle? By attaching the detachable Rifle/Bow Boot to your Badlands pack back and using the batwing straps on the back of the pack, you will be able to carry a rifle or bow hands-free! Is your glass still there? In order to make carrying your bino case more comfortable, the 2200 is compatible with Badlands' Bino Connect System, which lets you connect your bino case directly to your pack harness. What more could you ask for? A meat shelf is built into the pack, along with a pistol holster on the hip belt, and a 2L water reservoir can be fitted.
THE APPROACH CAMO - A carefully constructed and neutral palette allows the Approach pattern to adapt to your surroundings and lighting conditions at any given time. The changing lights will no longer dictate whether you should stay hidden or not when it comes to the most important stuff.

Questions & Answers

Lastly, I would like to ask We do not plan on going hunting, but we will have a large supply of geology field work equipment. Do you think it would work for an overnight hike?

The straps on the outside of the backpack will likely be used to strap large items such as a sleeping bag, pad, and tent onto the outside, if you have compact backpacking camp gear.

Why is there an obvious price difference when there's only a camo pattern? Is it true they are all the same packs?

Neither are they of the same generation. As for the new, more expensive pack, the frame and fabric are lighter due to using magnesium as well as the Also, this bag is bigger with an optional spotting scope pocket attached, as well as other pockets. You can't possibly say the camo pattern is what would make it work.

Thanks. I would just like to know why there are two different pricing options for the Do you have one of the old versions?

There is a difference between the two due to the camo pattern.

Is there an option to add additional pouches to the molle system?

I'd like to point out that the Badlands 2200 Camouflage Hunting Backpack has three cross straps that enclose the entire outline The flaps are shaped like wings. An additional pouch or pouches can be attached to this bag using these straps.

The shirt I was wearing was when I was struck by a car
5/5

During the time I was riding my motorcycle, I was wearing this when I was struck by a truck doing 45 mph. After I lost my leg, I was able to save my back with this device. Due to the fact that I rode on my back, I had no road rash. Only a few signs of wear can be seen on the bag. Wear through to the fabric is visible in two spots of less than 1" x 1". There is no doubt about the durability and the capability of this device.

It's great to work for a company that supports veterans
5/5

After I got to be a part of a veteran's elk hunt in which I purchased my Badlands 2200 backpack one year ago. It's hard for me to express enough gratitude for the Badlands company and what they do for their vets. In the course of the hunt, I asked the guides what type of hunting bag I should get, and they all recommended a backpack. There is no hope for us. In 2015, we were able to pack out two cows with the pack during the hunt. The first thing I did after getting back from the hunt was to order one. The pain in my back has caused me to become a disabled Veteran. The only hunting backpacks I have used so far have been US Army MOLLE, though I have logged more than a few miles on one of them. As a result, I used it for a turkey hunt in the spring. For the purpose of testing out my back, I loaded it with 30 pounds of gear and hiked around for 7 days. I was blown away by it! I liked how it sat on my hips. Very slung and cinched down. There was not much of a difference between back there and This fall, I went camping with some friends at the Elk Creek Wilderness and was very confident about the trip. The cow we got was about a mile away and we had to hike out of it (bad terrain). The half-cow bet made by my friend was that he could pack it in my bag with the cow attached. cannot bear that much weight on my back) Weight-wise, I'd estimate that we were between 130 and 132 pounds. It was with this 2200 that he was able to pack out the elk half. Now he has his own. In order to keep my Badlands loyalty, I became a customer in the near future.

PACK THAT IS REALLY WELL MADE I wish you well, but I am not your kindred spirit
4/5

It took me a lot of time to research this pack before I bought My wish was to find a bag that has more capacity than a standard "day pack" and can haul out a quarter or boned-in frog With a standard day load, it is big enough to take out buck, but not too big. I watched videos of people wearing and reviewing the shoes, and based on my research and research, it seemed like exactly what I had been The first thing that I noticed when I received the pack was that it is much bigger and "taller" than it appeared on the Exactly as it should have been. The height I am is 5' 9" and the weight is about 190 pounds. My hips sat properly on the belt when I tried it on and made all the necessary adjustments, etc - the straps and adjustments were tightened as much as they could go, but the belt continued to feel loose and not quite comfortable As a consequence, I also did not outfit it with an "going-for-it" look I am sure that being a little heavier would have made a difference in quality and fit. I still believe this pack would be more suitable for someone with a height of 6' 2", a weight of 225 pounds or more. It ranges from. A second thing that bugs me, maybe not others, is the top of the pack stands upright a few inches above my shoulders when I turn my eyes left or right, I can see it in my peripheral vision, which can be very annoying when I'm looking for wildlife. Then again, from my own personal experience and opinion, I can say that this is a very well designed pack. It is difficult to dislike a company that guarantees their product with a lifetime warranty for the life of the product. Pack the following if I were going on an overnight trip of 2 or 3 days Larger male or females would have no problem fitting into this pack since it is 22 inches in length. The negative review led me to return the computer, but I am considering the Badlands Diablo Dos as a smaller and more budget-friendly alternative.

Pack Period of the Most Versatile Product = Gear, Meat, and Rifle
5/5

During my Dad's final years, I'd been hunting with my Dad's pack that he had given me before he passed, so you can imagine this pack was going to be an intricate one looking after his. As far as I can tell, this is the only pack that could fill the gap. The product is fantastic, made by a great company who offers a great The pros are It features an internal frame, HUGE zipper pulls, strong fasteners, meat shelf, wrist straps, hidden rifle holder, optics pouch, great balance, and is fairly waterproof on its own. The bladder pouch absorbs condensation to ensure your gear does not get wet. The cons are There was no external radio pocket on my old pack, which I liked better because it had a radio pouch on the shoulder strap. My old bladder hose holder was stolen, so I would like the strap to have a hose holder. It is necessary to purchase both the bladder and the rain cover separately. I prefer to use water or Gatorade bottles whenever I hunt, so it is not a big deal. It is so much easier to deal with instead of cleaning and drying the bladder so that it does not taste like an aquarium. Though, I did buy the bladder just because I am an accessory nerd. Just be sure to buy the square 2L one because that is the one with the internal pouch.

The rule of one size does not apply to all situations
3/5

The reason I gave it 2 stars is that it does not fit and does not fit well for my size. One of the first ones I ordered never arrived. Shipping for prime was supposed to take 2 days, but took 5 days instead. Amazon is great. Thanks a lot. The packs I bought are just too big for a guy like me who stands 5'10" and weighs 200 pounds. After I squeezing it up tight and sitting down, the shoulder straps sit up past my shoulders to where my head won't comfortably turn. I find it very difficult to squeeze the waist belt tightly. There is a LOT of distance between the pistol holster and the pistol. As soon as it is in, I cannot remove it without taking the pack off, which is a complete travesty. A bear charging at you is going to do what? What are you? Would you mind if I said that? As I sit on my back, I have a rifle strapped to it. There is nothing I can do. Would I be able to shoot grouse if I wanted to? Could that be the desire of the badlands? I know I am tough, but I do not fit the one size fits all model. Possibly the pack was the culprit? The brown camo one is what I ordered. What's called Approach FX is what I believe it is.
