The cover is very easy to grip and has a good degree of protection. Due to the thickness of the silicone, as well as the fact that it completely covers the AMPS electrical mount connectors, it must be removed for use with the Garmin AMPS mount or bicycle mount.

The Montana 700i is protected by this armor

Canyoneering was a great time to use the case to protect my Garmin 700i. In addition to the soft bag, I also used another one It is my experience that this silicon case will protect the Montana 700i except for the For that, I'm likely to be able to get a screen protector. When the Montana 700i has been installed in the case, it is slightly more difficult to power it on and power it off.

A feeling of peace

So far, the package has arrived 5 days ahead of schedule. GPS unit fits perfectly in the case and can be easily positioned over it. Adding a case does add a bit of bulk, but that is not a concern for me, it's peace of mind and something I prefer to avoid if I drop my device. I also fitted a screen protector and it does not interfere with what the case does.
