There are very few basic features on this device that are found on just about any electronic made in the history of man. In this device, there is no I/O, so it is impossible to determine what the device is capable of doing. Despite there being no indicator to indicate that the battery is charging, there are no buttons to even reset the device, which by default is set to wake up once every 24 hours, transmit information, receive updates, and then go back to sleep again. Out of the box, you plug the unit into a power source, and pray to the GPS tracking gods that the cable you were given is good, the battery isn't dead, and that the GPS tracking device is able to connect to the internet to transmit and receive data. As a result, you have no other options. Besides sitting and waiting, there isn't much you can do. There have been other reviewers that have had better luck, and I believe that these factors have something to do with where they placed their devices. It may be worthwhile to update this review in a few months to say if and how the limitations raised here are rectified. However, I have only been able to give it a so-so grade so far I've reviewed it. This product was installed inside the mower where it was powered by a USB service port with silicon to make it waterproof. The first time I plugged in the tracker on my mower (a Worx Landroid), the mower didn't like it, but after cutting the data wires in the charger, it works just fine!
