Skinks can be caught in the jaws, or are the jaws too small for them? My goal is not to hurt them, but I don't want them in my house either! ?

You can catch lizards with a dowel or fishing rod by tying a long strip of string to the end in order to create a little noose on the end. As long as the pole is not approaching them, they are usually not scared of it. Taking one by one, you wrap the noose around their head and pull them upward. The lizard will not be hurt by this, I am a wildlife biologist.

I give SIX STARS TO Now is the time to take control of your snake problem
5/5

Having been a member of Amazon since 1997, I have a lot of experience with their products. My longest review was 23 years old. Prior to today, I had written 3 reviews. It is time for my fourth blog because if you have a snake in your house and it is making you feel uneasy, you need snake gloves. In the past few weeks, a snake invaded my house. This taunt has followed us for a very long time. There was a lot of fear in the basement among my family members. This caused a lot of difficulty in apprehending it since it liked the pipes in the ceiling (the basement is undivided). If you find yourself in that situation, try grabbing a slithering thing on a ladder I don't think that's possible. Tongs for snakes are ready. Snake tongs are nothing new, but who would have thought? Nevertheless, there is. Thank goodness. Although I was skeptical about getting any value out of this instrument, I gave it a shot since I have tried everything else and I have yet to experience any major disappointment. The first time I tried it, it worked. He's wrapped himself around a pipe, so I took out the snake tongs and took him off the pipe without damaging the snake. I dropped him into a box, taped it up, and shipped him back into the wild. It was a return to a once-perfect home and to a perfect family and I felt such a sense of responsibility The basement is once again available for use. In the spirit of giving thanks to the inventor of snake tongs and the maker of this durable and thoroughly functional pair, I salute you. It is commendable that you took charge of the situation. In case you have a snake that hurts you, snake tongs may provide just the solution you need. You are venomous. Enjoy your hunt! )

HAPPY HUNTING!.

We have to accept the situation as The locking mechanism is a total joke as I have read in other reviews
3/5

The lock was locked when it was received, and I couldn't get it to disengage for the life of me. You just need to tighten one screw to finish the job. Personally, I prefer to have more control over the grip with grabbers that don't require it. It appears to be fine otherwise. I purchased as a result of the clearing of the woods behind me for a new development, and I have been plagued with snakes every since. The only one I saw was one The two snakes I have encountered in the decade I've owned this house have been terrifying, and this year has been no exception. It would be great if I could relocate these critters at the far side of my property so that they won't peek out of crevices when I'm working in my yard and scare me away! It's likely that I won't see another snake now that I have the grabbers.

The stick looks good
5/5

This lock sticks to your boot. During my time in the Sonoran desert of Arizona, I worked at a wildlife zoo and had to move Our guests and residents should be able to find A LOT of rattlesnakes to prevent them from becoming prey for our residents or being encountered by humans. In light of the fact I don't use the stick every day, I wanted something practical but a little less industrial that I can keep in my Having a passion for reptiles, I am always on the lookout for them out on the street, at friends' houses, and more. This is a great stick and is Safety lock is incredibly sticky and is somewhat difficult to release, but hopefully it will become more self-reliant over time. It can also be a bit "rattly" (excuse simply tied a zip tie around the handle so I can remove and replace the loop easily. This stick is really great. Feel confident about your purchase!.

The grip on this snake capture tool is excellent

We have a snake problem at our house, so I was looking for a snake repellent. Rattlesnakes will not be able to sting you with their long tongues.

I expected a solid stick for snake wrangling, and I got it
5/5

Although I have not tried it yet (we usually have one or two rattlesnakes around the house each year), it seems solid and well constructed. Although other reviewers have noted that the stiff wire/rod inside the tube rattles a little bit, this is not much of an issue since snakes cannot hear through air, and are already alert by the time this device activates. The threat of "sneaking up" cannot be accomplished. As I have proven from experience, they are able to hear your footsteps from many yards away as you walk the desert and may start buzzing just ahead of you under distant rocks (if it's a good one). - If I wish to preserve the snakes in a special way, I would- I might line the jaws with something to increase the surface area of the gripping area and further soften the grip (the metal is pretty thick, but still has a bit of a pinch if the snake tries If I'm trying to extract a rattlesnake from the patio rockery, I'll be concerned with injury to myself more than I will with the snake. Rabies is a serious problem in all parts of the country. Those who receive this treatment should consider themselves lucky if they get treated by an electronic device and not a head-mounted one The more often I relocate the shot, the more successful I am (I've only relocated The only thing that could be wished for is a mechanism to maintain grip after the snake is captured. Ignoring any quibbles over the jaw shape, which won't be tested until used on a snake, this is the only additional feature that could possibly be useful. Few snake grabbers have that, but getting such a mechanism to work and hold reliably (that last part is crucial! too much of a task This is not a big deal here as it is not present. (A question on the review form asks "Easy to use?". "How does that compare to what?" I ask.

Snakes are kept at arm's length by this solid product
5/5

This update is I used this for the first time today, finding an adorable baby rattlesnake in my neighbor's yard. The snake tried to bite me, but I ignored it. Luckily the snake grabber held tight to the snake and didn't let it near. Hence I was able to let go of it and dump it This is a great product you should try if you live in a snake-infested area. In the original post, I stated that this product will work well for snake capture. In the past, I used a professional product to get rid of diamondbacks, but since it was borrowed, I needed to replace it. The closest I could find was this. In the tubing, the wires are hidden. A sturdy clamp is used, and a convenient handle makes it easy to operate. An ordinary snake will be able to slip underneath and get clamped down by it. As long as you hold on to the snake until you are ready to dump it, you won't drop it or it will become irritated (not a good result).

Snake Grabber is an awesome snake grabber
5/5

Snagging, holding, and bagging rattle snakes is a snap with this grabber because the long reaches allow the grabber to reach farther. I used to be too close to snakes up to 60 inches until I acquired the grabber. All rattlers, no matter how large, can be handled easily now.
