Questions & Answers

What is the comfort level of wearing the Janus on the belt of my regular pants?

In fact, yes. carry mine every day to hold my Samsung Galaxy Note8 Phone with Otterbox Defender Case as well as miscellaneous items like cash, credit cards, bandaids, wired headphones, and so on.

Can you tell me how long the strap is?

The strap of the Janus is 14 inches long from end to end of the buckle at maximum extension. With my Jumbo Pack, I keep my strap close to my body, so it measures about 12 inches from tip to tip.

Are there any plans to use it with the Wolfspur?

This is a great pocket
5/5

You can see pictures of what I use it for. It is made with quality material and has the same kind of feel that I have come to expect from top-quality It is definitely only for those who require it for a specific purpose (not as a comprehensive item for storing gear). Basically, I am going to use this product to carry my "last ditch" must have gear, such as a Survival Knife, Fire starter, and the like. There are so many things you need to be prepared for during a bug out/campout/hike/camping situation, but it seems like this item would be perfect for having those essential items on hand yet still being small enough to carry with you at all times during the experience. The only con I can find (but that does not warrant taking a star away) is that there are two internal Velcro straps sewn It would be better if they were removable as some configurations do not require them, taking up valuable space as a result. It has been removed as I use it directly to my belt, without the included 'external' strap clips.

Bags that are the perfect size for small kits
5/5

As a supplemental pouch to my Jumbo Versipack, I bought this. After removing and putting back on the extension strap a few times, I decided which way I liked best. The extension strap will remain in place. As with the Jumbo VersiPack, this has some stiff nylon, but that is a plus since these things are not built to hold up very long, just take you by the throat and call you a jackwagon if that is what you think. This pouch is a great addition to your Maxpedition bag when used as part of an individual First Aid Kit. There are bandaids, creams, gloves, a blanket, chapstick, OTC painkillers, Visine, an Off Bite and Sting stick, a glowstick, and even a small bottle of Purell Hand Sanitizer on hand. Despite the fact that I have ridiculously packed my bag to bursting, I've been able to keep a few things hidden. The kit is like the one in Clown Cars. I only found one con and it isn't even enough for me to deduct a star but I still wanted to let you know that I did find bungee cord that comes with it was rethreaded after I pulled it off. There was something about how the program was setup that I didn't like. All that's left is to say thank you. You can't go wrong with this if you're looking for something to use for your small survival kit or first aid kit, or even if you just want a place to store some travel toiletries.

I added the Versipack Fanny Pack to my Maxped backpack
5/5

This clip clips to the straps of my Maxpedition Versipack perfectly. My goal was to have a pocket to store my phone in that is not in back, so that I wouldn't have to turn my fanny pack around my waist to access it. My iPhone Fits perfectly in this with room to spare in my Otterbox Defender case. There is something about having this on the Versipack that makes it feel faster than it would without the Janus. Since the Janus adds a little extra length to the Versipack's belt, you will not be able to use the Versipack with a tight belt setting if you use the Janus. As soon as I have the Janus in place and cinched down, I feel it might add 2 inches to the My pant waist measurement is 32 inches, and I have the Janus on the Versipack, which is cinched completely to fit me perfectly With a waist circumference of less than 32 inches, I wonder if anyone could use Janus + Versipack together.

You've just found the perfect Every Day Carry pouch! There are a lot of Maxpedition pieces I own, but this is one of their best! It is easy to fit so much into one of these little pouches and they are just the right size for an everyday carry In order for you to get an idea of the weight and volume of what you can stuff inside with plenty of room to spare, I placed a few common items inside
5/5

I was on the fence about getting this pouch for a long time before I decided to purchase it, and I regret not getting it I would highly recommend it for carrying your phone together with everything else you need with you all the time. Speaking of which, how many people set their phone on a counter or any other surface that is not adequately sanitized when they visit a bank or eat at a restaurant? Do you find it tiring to fumble around in a shirt with no pockets and no place to sit anything It is a thing of the past now, as this pouch fixes the issue. Never again feel frustration in your hands! Wear it on your belt or crossbody to avoid frustration. Don't overthink it, just buy it! Don't put it off any longer. The decision you make will be worth it.

I just want to say how great a Maxpediton piece continues to be
5/5

To complement my Noatak Gearslinger, I bought this Janus about 10 months ago. The strap lengths are all adjusted so that it fits perfectly. Although most people use the Janus to stuff it with medical devices or EDC items, I already have an EDC bag (the standard size Maxpedition) that I carry inside one of the large pockets of Hence, I use it most frequently to keep my Zen in check There is a Ray 8x42 monocular in front of me and I'm ready to grab it. Further, I keep a decent amount of spare pens, paper, and notebooks The fixed blade Esee Izula knife (up knife) is secured behind the front slot outside. Despite the monocular taking up most of the inside, there is still enough room on the inside bottom to keep my original Leatherman tool, and a 25' roll of 550 paracord. I also have a few very thin items that I can keep in the inside side pockets. I keep my Fresnel lenses, some emergency cash, an ID card, and a credit card (NEVER keep all your credit cards in one place, like your wallet, for fear that you may lose it). In addition, the Janus Extension Pocket is extremely versatile, and no exception can be made. It appears the extension strap is not as useful as it could be, according to other reviews on other forums, etc. , and a few buyers expressed dissatisfaction with the size of the pack. In my opinion, both are optimal. You just need to research them carefully before you make a purchase. As soon as I saw how perfectly this pack would fit in front, I knew I had to have the gearslinger As a matter of fact, I double-checked Checked the measurements of the straps and made sure they fit and could be adjusted appropriately. In regards to the quality or construction of the Janus, I will not comment as it is identical to the stuff I usually use. There is nothing better, period, if you are familiar with Maxpedition.

The pouch for the S&W 442 is a CCW pouch
5/5

It's been a while since I bought this, so I got it so I can slide a waist belt through to access several backpacks. When the buckle is attached, it will fit up to 2" waistbelts. My actual use for it is to fit s & m The width of this page is 442 inches. I can wear it just fine. It's right where I need it, and no one need to see it while I'm on the trail. The front of the pouch will accept a molle phone holder, and a tiny flashlight can be fit inside. Everyone has something different to carry, but I needed a pouch for my CCW.
