The material is strong but flexible, so it won't rip or tear as easily as plastic or nylon. Apart from the shiny chrome buttons, the black buttons are a nice touch, and they're much slimmer than other keepers, so it's great for slimming down your belt a little. I'm supposed to be wearing basket weave, but the threads are fraying, and the rubber versions of basket weave don't match the pattern I require. That said, the only way these could be improved is if different styles, such as basket weave, were available for those who require it.
Sierra Bravo No. 11 It's a 75 belt match, and it's a good one. They snap in nicely and appear to be as good as the bianchis provided by my department, which I've worn on my duty gear for over 15 years. They're a little pricey for what they are, but if they hold up in the long run, they might be worth it. Despite the fact that we all seem to be dealing with USPS issues, delivery was quick.
br>br>According to the package description, these should fit belts up to 2 inches wide. They were the right size for my two children. Perfect for a 25-inch belt. br>br>These are simple to put on and stay on all day; they come highly recommended. br>br>Just so you know, I didn't read the title before buying these. For all you uniform snobs out there, these are SILICONE, not leather. Quality- These are excellent in every way. I would strongly suggest it.
I compared it to others I own and it's 1/4" shorter, but it still fits on my belt; I guess you'll have to break these keepers in a little before they snap into place. If you have a lot of gears on your belt, the strap/fabric versions may be preferable because they stretch more. br>br>I have a 2" inside belt and a 2" outside belt. 1/4".
When I first bought them over a year ago, I gave them five stars. The keepers have only recently begun to break into two pieces. Please see the photos attached. It's possible that I got a bad batch of silicone because it didn't hold up to the test of time. I'm going to buy some more, but if I have the same problem, I'll switch to a different brand.
These are simple to snap, fit comfortably over my belt, and I've never had a problem with them. The buttons are very sleek, and unlike other keepers, they do not scratch or reveal metal underneath. br>br>Plus, it's simple for me to identify which keepers are mine in the locker room; they're all different, and I can easily keep track of them.
Nylon cloth keepers fray and collect dirt, and leather keepers are expensive and need to be replaced after a while; however, these poly keepers are easy to clean and look great. So far, I'm in love with these that I've ordered a second pair to keep in case I lose track of them.
