At least according to my understanding, it rips away from the mobile platform.
Although the package description did not mention waterproof, the material does appear to repel rain and other elements. Just don't dive with it:
Yes, it could be attached to a vest while still retaining the rip-away functionality. I WOULD NEVER DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT! I have two of these and there is almost no limit to the amount of gear I can stuff into them; as a result, mine are far too heavy and protrude far too far. I wouldn't be able to easily reach around them to get to the other gear on my vest, and if you look closely, you'll notice a dangling double strap handle; They'll get tangled up in whatever you're dragging next to them. If you tie the handles down inside the pouch, you'll add extra steps to everything you want to get to. These pouches work best when they're attached to a backpack that you'll drop and possibly leave some distance from where you'll need to use the rip off pouch. Mine is too big for a drop leg strap, in my opinion. I could stuff them with fewer things. But why would I show up at a disaster with less gear than is required?

This Rip- I'm using my away bag as a personal medical pouch, which I've secured to the outside of my backpack for quick access. It's tough and well-stitched all the way around the edges and corners. It separates into three compartments, each with numerous pockets and elastic holders to hold all of your medical supplies. br>I've been using this for a few months and it's still looking and feeling good. Everything stays in its place inside, and there's plenty of room for everything. br>The zippers are sturdy and come with a protective flap to prevent them from unzipping accidentally. br>It's a great rip away pouch; the backing plate is sturdy and has a strong Velcro backing, but it also has an exterior snap that keeps the bag from catching on something and falling out. br>Please click the "helpful" button below if you found my review useful. br>Thank you for your time and consideration, and please stay safe at all times:.
To begin, let me state unequivocally that I have no affiliation with the Condor brand; however, I believe they do not receive nearly as much attention or credit for their superior products as they deserve. br>br>I purchased this pouch to use as additional storage for my Get Home/Emergency Bag, and it has since become an indispensable part of my setup. Most people, in my opinion, pay far too little attention to First Aid when putting together a Bug Out Bag or something similar. This pouch holds the right amount of such gear without taking up too much room in the bag's internal compartments. Not only that, but the tear-away feature is absolutely fantastic. This item will need to be accessed quickly in the event that it needs to be used. It's only natural to attach it to the outside of your pack. It's more than just "handy" to be able to remove it so easily from its storage location. "Until it's needed, it'll remain in place safely and securely. " br>br>In terms of fit, This thing is tough to the point of being unbreakable. I'm excited to put it through its paces outside. All of the stitching is of the highest quality, and it's reinforced where it's necessary. The design of this item took a lot of time and thought. The fabric is thick and substantial. If you value quality craftsmanship, you will enjoy your visit here. This pouch also performs admirably in terms of functionality. Despite the fact that it has a tear-jerking quality to it, it is It can also be used in place by unzipping and unfolding it where it's stored on a pack or vest. br>br>Just so you know, I'm ecstatic. I've already placed an order for a second one to go in my wife's bag.
I've been transporting my medical supplies in this bag. For a long time, I've been using this kit. On the tailgate of my Jeep Wrangler, I use it in tandem with a Molle Platform Solutions tailgate table. The rip-stop fabric is what really sets this bag apart. MOLLE attachment is being taken away. I've been in several situations in the last few years where I've needed quick access to a medical kit, and being able to open my tailgate and rip it off has been a huge help. I was able to grab this bag and quickly access an Israeli bandage and all the other supplies I needed to stabilize the wound until I could get him out of the back country and to medical help. It was also handy around the house when my son was cutting his thumb with a box cutter and ended up with a pretty deep cut. br>br>The bag itself is quite large and can accommodate a lot of supplies. However, I believe I will purchase a second bag to serve as a dedicated bleed kit, containing only items aimed at preventing major blood loss (tourniquet, Israeli bandage, quick clot gauze, and so on). If I ever find myself in a situation where I need to deal with a lot of blood, I want a kit that contains only the items I need. br>br>The bag appears to be of very high quality. I've had this one for about four years and it's still in great condition. Obviously, this bag spends the majority of its time in one place, but I've had to use it a few times and it's still in great shape. br>br>***************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** When it asks if the review was helpful, please click "helpful" to show your appreciation!.
For the cars, take a black) of these bags and use them as IFAK. Mine has been pre-programmed for major adversity. However, there is enough room for a general first-aid kit (in the zipper section). You can secure this pouch to the passenger side headrest with the strap; I've attached a photo, but if anyone wants me to list out what I EDC, just ask.
