Questions & Answers

Is a 32-inch waist the right size? Does it fit snugly or loosely?

I have a 32-inch waist and ordered the Medium, which turned out to be too big because it overlaps my belly button by 2 inches, making it feel uneven against my stomach and causing the belt buckles to not meet in the middle. No overlap and around would be a good snug fit, in my opinion. In front of the belly button, there should be about 5 inches of space.

Isn't this wonderful? On a scale of one to five, how would you rate your performance?

5 I have several of these and find them to be extremely comfortable. It appears that it is best to evenly support a heavy load and use suspenders or other over shoulder support. For example, I had an AK double mag pouch that could hold four mags on one side, but it worked better to put another on the other side and only have two in each. I had the opportunity to fully load both pouches at the same time and was blown away by how much the one with 8 AK mags seemed to settle in a little better on my hips than the one with suspenders and a dump pouch. With eight loaded AK 30 round magazines, I never imagined I'd be that mobile. I mostly use them as back supports, and they seem to work best with some pouches and weight to keep them from riding up during certain activities, such as cutting firewood with a chainsaw. I can use my chainsaw for longer when I'm wearing one of these, and walking is also easier for me, so I wear one frequently. I hope this has been of assistance in answering some of your questions.

In the back lumbar support area, how wide (height) is the belt? This will be used to support the weight of a backpack. Thank you very much! ?

Please provide your response in this box. 5in, love or hate, it gives me a lot of support.

Would this be suitable for a handgun training course requiring a holster and two mag pouches (including drawing from concealment)?

Yes, it will function with the appropriate holster and mag pouches, but this is a piece of load bearing equipment (LBE) designed to distribute heavy weight. It also lacks the duty belt (which must be purchased separately). If that's all you'll be carrying, a belt on your pants might be a better option.

I chose this belt's size based on feedback from other customers
5/5

I chose this belt size based on feedback from other customers who said it was too small. They were mistaken, and I now have to exchange the belt for a smaller size. I wish I'd known about this before ordering and squandering my time and Amazon's resources. According to "Condor" as of this posting, here is the correct size from beginning to end. I hope this information is useful to other people. Once I have the correct size to review, I will update the product. br>br>Thank youbr>br>S (35. 5" x 5" x 5" x 5" x 5" 30 - 35 inches around the waist 34br>M (39"), approximately 34br>M (39"), approximately 34br>M (39"), approximately 34br 36" - 38" waist 40 br> L (42"), approx. 40 br> L (42"), approx. 40 br> L (42"), approx. 42-42-42-42-42-42-42-42-42-42.

This was exactly what I needed for my 5
5/5

It was modified into a backpack belt. There is no waist strap on the 11 rush 24 bag. I don't need the waist strap all of the time; I only need it when I'm camping or hiking. So it's great that I can get rid of it. The backside opening is nearly perfectly aligned with the back pack. This waist belt is soft enough to sit on my hips for extended periods of time, and I appreciate the Velcro flaps on the sides that allow me to thread my belt through. I understand it's for a gun holster, but that's not what I need. And the molle webbing on this makes it ideal for attaching extra items. Overall, it fits my body well and does not become too hot to the point where I have to unbuckle the belt to cool down. It's also gentle enough on the body to be worn all day.

It doesn't appeal to me at all
3/5

I've been wearing this belt with a cobra buckle nylon belt for the past three years; I work in law enforcement, so I usually only wear it for an hour or two at a time before it's time to drop gear. I'm not crazy about it, but I also don't despise it enough to choose any of the other options. My biggest gripe is that four loaded Glock magazines will cause the top of the belt to roll out (as others have also observed). It makes no difference how low they are installed. I've even attempted to keep the belt in the upper half by punching small holes in it and running zip ties through like rivets. It has no impact on comfort or functionality, but it does make the room look ridiculous. I'd probably go with a duty belt and keepers if this was something I had to wear all day. br>br>For the price, it's well-made. I've used other condor products for items that I wasn't fortunate enough to receive. Like many of the so-called "experts," I believe that It's referred to as tactical gear on Amazon, and it's aimed primarily at the airsoft and zombie prepper crowds. As a result, it's likely to work well. However, more field testing of their products would be beneficial to them.

It's a lot better than the first time
5/5

I was hesitant to purchase "blast belts" or "battle belts" because the original designs were uncomfortable and inefficient. Condor isn't usually my first choice for tactical gear, but with this Gen II belt, they hit the nail on the head. It has numerous functional upgrades, including enhanced sewing and a new sewn-in mechanism to help prevent slippage in the places where drop leg holsters would go (on both sides), which other belts don't have. I'm currently in a test phase with the item, where we overstress the system by putting on more items than any one operator would. So far, everything has gone well! The molle straps are undamaged and there are no stitching failures. Even when fully loaded with gear, the belt is extremely comfortable. Battle belt designs have come a long way since the originals. This item is a must-have for operators who need low back support to keep up with the field's ever-increasing demands. Due to the fact that I do not advertise "tactical," this review does not include any photos or videos. Cheers.

Unless you're heading to a combat zone (and even then, it might not be enough), this will suffice
5/5

While there are slightly nicer examples (HSGI, 5. ) out there, this is an excellent battle belt for the price. 11, etc. ) this belt performs admirably for the price. br>br>At first, I was hesitant to purchase this belt, preferring instead to purchase other, more expensive brands. I saw the Condor version as a low-cost way to try out the concept (and initially purchased a medium that was too big for me), with the intention of "upgrading" later. However, I teach at our LE academy on occasion, and I've seen a few students use (and abuse) these belts. They held up well to day-to-day use on the range, in DT classes, full-contact use-of-force scenarios (aka "Red Man" drills), and so on; if they can withstand that for six months, they should be fine for the occasional use that most of these belts will see. br>br>Because I'm an investigator rather than a full-time SWAT or patrol officer, the battle belt concept is ideal for those times when we need to quickly gear up. When doing surveillance in a vehicle, it also keeps the gear low so as not to give anything away. This allowed me to get the setup I wanted without having to spend a lot of money.

This belt is a steal for the money; the padding isn't too thick, and there are three rubberized portions on the belt for added grip
5/5

It can get a little hot on long days, but for the low price, I'm willing to put up with it. This is not going to fall apart any time soon, in my opinion. br>br>For the time being, it complements my plate carrier by providing extra AR and pistol magazines. I don't have any pistol magazines mounted in the photos, but I always have at least one with me, and the draw is quick. My pistol is carried in an Orpaz molle holster with a condor tear away EMT pouch. Everything is kept on my person and is easily accessible. The belt has exposed corners, which some people dislike, but it actually worked out for me and allowed me to save money because I was able to loop the inner belt around the outside and mount a knife on the inner belt, eliminating the need for a molle knife sheath. I'll get one eventually, but for the time being, this will suffice. br>br>Fitment can be tricky because body types differ; with a multicam BDU top, my waist is right at 36 inches, so I bought the medium and the fit was perfect, with only a 4-inch gap. The distance between the ends of the belt is 5 inches. br>br>I'm sure there are better belts, but they'll cost two to three times as much and do the same job, if not slightly better. This is ideal if you're a prepper.
