I think pound awesome bags are awesome. It is always a good idea to pack them with you. I use them two times a week. The elks are small so make sure you get the XL.
I have never used a better game bag than these. There is also a reusability there. It just takes a light dose of If you have a washing machine, wash it

Getting these bags a few weeks ago was a nice upgrade after using Alaska Game Bags that were cheesecloth type. It is definitely worth spending the extra money on these. You can store your meat in them all year round since they pack down smaller, dry out faster than cotton bags, and don't stain like cotton bags. It would be nice to use these during a hunting trip if it was warmer outside so that flies and dirt could be kept off the meat. I believe these are similar to caribou game bags, but they are a little bit On a mule deer this weekend, I used a pair of xl-size boots and had no problems with them. Caribou bags are best for big game like Yukon Moose and elk, but if you're thinking about getting something bigger, like a moose or elk, I suggest you go for an xl. It looked like they cleaned up well, as well. They were turned inside out and I soaked them in a sink with cold water until most of the blood drained out (drained and replaced the water twice) and I machine washed them cold. They look and feel just as great as they did when I first bought It will surely serve you well for many seasons to come. Although these bags are more expensive than disposable bags or cheesecloth bags, you will find it well worth the investment if you hunt fairly regularly. The carrying bag it comes with is also nice, because it holds all 5 bags, the plastic sheet that comes with it, my ID tags, and a small vital knife and pack saw from Gerber so everything I have in my kill kit is in one place. As well as using a fixed blade outdoor edge knife, I also use a little bag to keep my fixed blade knife nearby.
This is the best game bag I have Easily cleaned and worked well the first time I used it, when I deboned my mule deer. It probably could be used as an elk bag because it has a lot of space.
I haven't used it on a regular basis yet. It was easy to clean up. I was very surprised by how well it fit a bull elk. It is very It is very light in.
I really like this kit. When you make a kill, you can start bagging as soon as you make them by carrying these bags with you in your pack all day. These heavy weight bags aren't as sturdy as some other heavy bags, but I do not intend to carry them. Additionally, the relatives who were hunting with me were very pleased as well with these as opposed to the old standard they were A mouse got to one of them so I'm buying another set (since I lost one). Ensure that your bags are hung!.
There was one mistake in the order and I did not receive an XL for an upcoming hunt with elk. Other than that, the quality is excellent.
If you intend to hunt elk, consider the XL bag. A couple years ago I stuffed a bull with a large bag because the quarters were too small for it. In addition, I have had the best bags so far.
Upon receiving them, I found they were well-made, made to handle a lot of weight, and will keep out bugs as well. They are also.
These game bags are very nice. In the past few years, we have used them to kill deer and elk with great success. The cool air circulating through them helps the meat cool faster, and the reflectors allow for better illumination in While they still add a decent amount of weight to your pack, they are nothing like the old canvas bags we used to use. These are in high demand among our hunting friends. A laundry is also a good place to wash out blood.
