This year, for venison brats, I ordered the "same" product. The new bags have the following features: I don't have enough room to seal the top because it's 375" shorter. To me, this box of 90 bags is nearly worthless. Foodsaver maintains that the bags are a quart in size, claiming that some engineer persuaded Marketing that they could save money by making the bags shorter, and that no one would notice. I DID! br>Now I'm on the lookout for a Foodsaver bag substitute. I have no intention of purchasing Foodsaver bags in the future. I'm hoping that Foodsaver is paying attention. br>Bags from the past 11. 25". 9. new totes 875 inches in length. The width is the same. It's unforgivable. Same box, same "quart" size, different product.

I'm not sure because I've always had Foodsavers, but they appear to be fairly generic.

I'm not happy with what I've seen so far. I am dissatisfied with the various sizes I received as a result of various orders. My previous order came with regular quart-sized bags, but my most recent purchase came with a bag that was shorter in length. Because the vaccum sealer takes up at least 1 inch of the bag to seal, it makes it more difficult to bag up items. br>br>I prefer the older, larger quart-size bags. I'm hoping the business will address this issue.
Their "Quart" bags are no longer what they once were. These are what I use to cook sous vide. They've made the bags less expensive by making them 10" long instead of 11" as they were previously. br>When you use them as much as I do, this is a big deal. I'd like to speak with the moron who made that choice. br>Whenever possible, I try to use manufacturer-recommended products. Better quality is usually the result of this. Their reputation will undoubtedly be tarnished as a result of this. Changes should not be made without prior notification to the customer. Some current reviewers are also complaining that these new bags do not hold a seal, which I hate to do, but I may have to do so this time. I haven't used them yet, so I can't comment on that.
) EDIT: That is no longer the case. These, too, are ten inches in length. I ordered from a page that had 44 count bags, but they had been changed to a 10" length rather than an 11" length. I sent two boxes back and then came across this page. As far as I can tell, these are the proper 11" length. > There is no sealer included; only bags are included. These bags are not something I would recommend. I'm used to the 1 quart bags from Foodsaver's green box. They are what I use to cook my steaks and other meats. This brown Food Saver box is one inch shorter than the other 1 quart bags. That 1" is required to properly close the bags. When I bought it, I didn't expect it to be like this. I raise my voice in protest! Please see the photo attached. The bottom bag was from a 44-count box of one-quart bags. The fact that the top one is shorter indicates that they are not the same.
No one would keep the box it came in if they were cautious. I dis- This infected the box in which it was shipped. When I opened the box after it had sat and dried, I discovered the bags had been stuffed into the same box in which they had been sent. There was no way to store them in a box. So, yes, I keep them in a ziplock bag until I'm ready to use them. For the time being. I believe it would be preferable if you packaged this item in a slightly larger box, allowing us to discard the shipping box and keep the box large enough to hold 90 bags. It's not like I'll be using 90 bags all at once.
br>br>I was extremely dissatisfied with the sealer, and these were a complete waste of money! At Wal-Mart, I was finally able to locate what I needed. Mart.
To be honest, I find it almost useless. I ordered a box of these two years ago (in 2019) and have only recently finished them. I reordered the ostensibly identical product, but the bags are now more than an inch shorter. They're labeled as quart bags, and yes, they will hold a quart of water if you don't plan on sealing them! The bag is too small to hold a quart of dry rice. Someone made the decision to save a few pennies per batch at the expense of the customer. To be honest, if your costs rise, you should increase the price. Instead of these useless bags, I'd rather have a product that works! br>br> I doubt the Foodsaver marketing department reads these reviews, because I'm not the only one who has complained. I only wish I had double-checked recent reviews before repurchasing. It's unlikely that I'll ever buy another Foodsaver product.
The last two boxes I ordered were a half-inch shorter than the ones I was used to. I've ordered these before, but I won't order them again until they return to their original length of 11 inches. When I bag shredded chicken, the juices make it difficult to properly seal the bag. For this problem, the smaller size was ideal. In the future, I will place my orders elsewhere.
