The sound quality of this thing astounded me. It only took about 5 minutes for me to figure it out. I'd say my diaphragm is more realistic, but I'm not sure a bull in a rut could tell the difference! It's also nice to move around without having a slobbery diaphragm in your mouth. This isn't the one I received. They must have made a change to the product but not the image. It's camo on the one I got. This is the ticket if you want to call in elk quickly and have a lot of fun.
This call has a great sound quality and is simple to operate. It's a back-up to a diaphragm call for me.
Not a great start. This product makes it difficult for me to make realistic decisions; it's not what I was expecting. This is not something I would recommend to anyone.
So far, everything seems to be going well. Because I'm terrible at diaphragm calls, I went with an open reed. In less than 10 minutes, I was able to make several different cow calls using this. It's simple to disassemble and clean or adjust if necessary.
One of the most effective elk cow calls available. I just got back from an elk hunt in Colorado. Cows and bull elk have been encountered numerous times. We have a number of brand calls, but this one has received the most attention. This company's calls will be purchased by me and my hunting partners in the future.
You, like the vast majority of open reed mouth calls, That's a great idea. It, like most open reed mouth calls, must be kept clean and dry in order to function properly.
I really like this call; it's simple to use and has a great sound.
