The bag has the appearance of being made of a heavy-duty mesh. I've used it three or four times now, and it seems to be able to withstand a lot of abuse (heavy and loud rattling). The only problem I had was with the top loosening after 2 or 3 minutes of use. I hope you find this information useful.

As realistic as it gets. Some people have complained that they sound like plastic (which they are), but I can't tell the difference, and I'm sure deer can't either. They'd tell us if they had the ability, right? In all seriousness, go ahead and purchase them and put them to the test. They are effective if you have success with them. If you don't, it's most likely because they aren't the real deal. Okay, I'll admit that I'm still joking. br>br>In my case, I had a pleasant 8-hour experience. point walk across my field of vision from about 150 yards away I smacked the rattle bag a few times to bring him to a halt. I took my shot and had venison for dinner after he turned and began walking straight towards me from about 80 yards away. They do their job for me, and I believe they are well worth the money. This is not a joke.
Much easier to transport in my backpack than my real antlers, and the case's band prevents them from making unwanted noise. I haven't tried removing tines or anything, but they are significantly louder than my natural antlers, which is important with the wind howling. It allows the sound to travel further, but you can also make them quieter by gently rubbing them together. In terms of how well they work, I had success this season bringing in a few bucks from as far away as 200 yards and as close as 75 yards. They're an excellent complement to my game calls.
I used this during deer season and didn't get a single response to the rattling, so I'm returning it. I tried the buck sparring and tree rubbing techniques, but the plastic tubes and parts inside don't appear to be the same as the horns I used to have. I was hoping to get rid of my set of real antlers that I use to imitate a fight or rubbing, but these sound hollow and flat. It's as if you're slamming together a bag of plastic sticks. I tried removing some, as suggested by the directions, but the sound remained the same. I tried it several times throughout the season in various locations, but nothing worked. It's not something I'd go out of my way to buy. I believe I've given it enough time, and I'll begin working on a return right away. Other reviews give it high ratings but state that they haven't used it and haven't received any feedback. I wanted to give it a shot to save space in my backpack, but it appears that I'll be returning to my original set of antlers.

I've had the black rack and this Primos bag call for quite some time. These fit into the woods more easily. I prefer the sound of "black rack. " Both, however, appear to attract the attention of the deer. And, at the end of the day, my vote goes to the one that makes it easier for me to pack into the woods. Every year, I make an effort to pack lighter or smaller items whenever possible.
Antlers are much more difficult to transport. The sound is extremely realistic, simple to manipulate, and can become extremely loud if you're aggressively calling. The rut is something I'm looking forward to.
The quality of the bag isn't great - When I first used it in the woods, the band that was supposed to wrap around the pieces broke off. In general, I make this call every 35 minutes or so. In the woods for 45 minutes. Some nice bucks and a lot of scrappers were called in. it works! I've had doe around me use this call, and they don't seem to be alarmed during the rut, so it's "normal" to them. For the time being, I have no plans to use another phone number.
For years, I've tried unsuccessfully to find deer on public land. I brought home a six-point buck the first time I used this bag. It could just be a coincidence, but I doubt it. He came out of the woods so certain that he was about to come across two rivals fighting that he didn't bother to look around.
