It'll be fantastic. Every year before I go out, I listen to the CD because it is very informative. Minnesota

Selected User Reviews For Illusion Systems Extinguisher & Black Rack Calling System
I wish there were two reviews for this package. The grunt call (#4) is fantastic. It sounds great, is super easy to adjust, and doesn't top out when you're trying to get a deer's attention at a distance or making long grunts (8 stars). The only criticism I have is that it is depicted with a lanyard, but it does not come with one, or at least did not come with mine. br>br>On the other hand, the Black rack system is a one-star product. It's awkward to use, and it's just as difficult to pack in and out as real antlers. It's also impossible to use without slamming your knuckles together. In terms of sound, it does not live up to expectations. It's flimsy, has a plastic-like sound, and isn't very durable. They do make a decent light tickling sound when deer are already nearby, but that is about the only positive thing I can say about them. You can't slam them together or do any aggressive rattling without your knuckles slamming into each other. They're useless on windy days or for turning deer from a long way away. br>These things sound great thanks to the magic of TV and microphones, but I don't believe the product is capable of producing that kind of sound in real life.
I resumed my previous habits. This package was ordered in late October and arrived in November. 2) with the intention of using it during the Wisconsin rut. br>Delivery and packaging were both flawless. br>br>Now that the season is over, it's time to move on.
Pros: br>The Black Rack has a nice design, is simple to use, and produces a good sound. The Extinguisher Call is a well-known fire extinguisher call. The ability to change sound, tone, and pitch with a slide at your fingertips is a fantastic addition. In the past, I've had to carry two calls at once (while hunting the rut) and hoped that this would eliminate that inconvenience. br>The DVD is informative and covers everything that needs to be covered. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product.
- When compared to the common 8-point rattling deer antlers, the Black Rack is a little more difficult to transport. I wear a thick recoil type rope around my neck tied to each antler. I intended to buy a section of Velcro and use it to velcro them together to see if it would help, but I never did. In comparison to the common 8-point deer antlers, they also take up a lot of room in a small tree stand. But, although it may appear petty, Even though they were hung out of the way, they were still in the way of something or inconvenient to access because I moved them OUT OF THE WAY.
- The tone of the Extinguisher Deer Call is terrible. It sounds like a doe bleat at the highest pitch. Since the late 1980s, I've been using an old Rod Benson wooden grunt call, and in 2001, I purchased a plastic version for my son. They work flawlessly in the "buck grunt" position, producing a far superior sound with a deep, rich tone. I only used the fire extinguisher twice after receiving it (1st week of November). /peak of the WI rut) and I was so disappointed with the sound that I couldn't afford to use it for the rest of the season, so I went back to my old Rod Benson, which worked seamlessly, flawlessly, and with great results as always. br>br>In South Dakota, I hunt on the same 400 acres. Since 1984, E WI has had consistently strong results. Since 1990, we've been QDMing this property and have aprox. Every year, we miss out on six book bucks among other good bucks that we pass up day after day, week after week, season after season. We make a lot of use of our grunts. Sometimes all it takes is calling a buck in close enough to video catalog him for year-after-year reference. It's something we excel at. This photo depicts three Christmas Eve bucks (2017) that we see/pass on a daily basis. br>br>Unfortunately, I will not be using the Extinguisher Deer Call due to the tone, nor the Black Rack due to inconvenience (I know, it's petty), but a simple 120's class 8pt antler set is more convenient to carry- in and suspend from a small tree stand br>br>For whatever reason, I don't despise the product or the company. Very creative ideas, and I congratulate those who have found success with them. I'm hoping that the Extinguisher Deer Call I got is defective, and the lack of a low-pitched grunt tone is just a manufacturing flaw?? So remember that as well.
In my own mind I was amazed at all that had happend on my first day when I hunted from rattle grunts, I even use the turkey caller about an hour into the hunt and A 10 point buck came into and the turkey at the same time they never took a turkey mess. However, unless a decoy is required, it is not close enough. When it's really cold outside, the grunt caller gets a little shaky. Are you going to disassemble it, tweak it, and reassemble it so it works better?.
That's what I'm saying. It's excellent value for money. It's worth $50 just to make the call. It effortlessly produces the most realistic calls I've ever heard. The information on YouTube about calling, as well as seeing it in action, can help you hone your skills for use on your hunt. I can't imagine this not assisting in the capture of those deer! Now I just need to find a time when the wife will let me leave the baby with her for the day so I can go hunting! Is that something you can buy on Amazon?.
The DVD was very informative, with a lot of helpful hints! The buck I brought in had a massive body and was an Iowa buck! I don't have the biggest rack, but with a 145-inch rack and a 250-pound body, I'll take these any day! With limited hunting access due to outfitters leasing and purchasing land, I'm thrilled to be able to pull these buck off of their property and onto mine!.
During Indiana's first weekend of firearm season, I used the Black Rack to wake up two bucks. My friend and I both believe in the power of prayer. br>br>On Saturday, I used a 30 second sequence (really bashing them together wasn't shy at all), waited 5 minutes, and then used a 60 second sequence to bring a 9 point right to our stand, and the next day, I brought an absolute bruiser in range. I can only recommend that you watch a few YouTube videos and get out in the field.
I really like the grunt; I've tried a lot of them over the years and this is by far the best!! On the other hand, I'm not a big fan of the rattling antlers, but that's just a personal preference because I can't seem to get a good rhythm going for a long cadence. But that could just be me needing more practice. I think the antlers sound great; you get a great pop when you slam them together and a very true sound when you just tickle the tines. This is an excellent system that I intend to use in the long run as I gain more experience.
