As expected, it functions properly. It doesn't have a button for a doe estrus call, which I expected it to have, but the grunt is deep and seems to attract bucks' attention. br>br>I like the flexible tube because it allows me to quickly change the grunt's tone. br>br>The deer snort wheeze feature isn't great, but I don't think it's worth using in the first place.
This grunt has brought in a lot of does as well as a few bucks. One young one was called in from a quarter mile across a field, about 20 feet in front of us. Bringing them in for my son to shoot was a lot of fun. (It's actually more fun than actually shooting them. ).
It's convenient to be able to use it for three different tones and bring fewer items into the woods.
You must use extreme caution when pressing the button; otherwise, it will sound terrible! The buck call is very loud, and if there are any deer in the area, they will flee, as I did a few days ago. I haven't been able to get a buck or a doe to come in yet. I believe I will continue to use my 1969 buck call.
Reed froze up in the cold, and moisture buildup on Reed causes it to freeze up. Disassemble and clean.
This is a fantastic call! My son and I used this while archery hunting, and we were able to use it a few times to draw the buck's attention from a distance of over 75 yards. Because it was a small buck, there was no need for a shooter. I bought one for my son for Christmas because he liked it so much!.
a present for Christmas My adolescent requested it because we go hunting on a regular basis. He appeared to enjoy it and made use of it. I'm not sure if it helped him hunt better, but he enjoyed playing with it. The product appeared to be of good quality.
