There is nothing special about these boots. They are just I wouldn't bet my life on it, however, even though they could probably stop a bite. money on dedicated snake boots. They will cost you less than a trip to the doctor for antivenin (it will cost about $100k for the visit), amputation, or death.
I think you can do it if it is cold and if you are active enough. With these boots, I've shoveled snow and cut firewood all year long without having my feet get cold and I've worn them in extremely cold weather as well. boots are made with materials that have a degree of natural insulation, but not in the freezing temperatures in which it would be appropriate to sit in a treestand.

I'm a forester in Louisiana so I use my boots every day and I need them to work. After a year, these boots completely fell apart. Nearly 7 years have passed since I last wore my Lacrosse boots. So, I was able to buy another pair without hesitation because they were so warm and durable. Sadly, I am no longer fond of this pair. There is a great deal of leakage from the closed-toe boots because the soles have separated from the boots. Despite the cheap price, I'm nowhere near impressed. If the 00 pair had been available, it might have been quite feasible. I may have to find an alternative to Lacrosse now that I have lost my business.
