Although the boots are great, as long as they leak in two seasons they are not worth the price. They will fix them, but you'll have to pay for shipping and inconvenience to get a $450 pair of boots fixed.
They are made in Italy according to the pair I own. The fit is exceptional. A very comfortable chair. There is no break in time. *br>The only downside to even mention is that the straps on the back lack finger holes This is a worthy investment.

After having the Kenetrek Men's Mountain Extreme 400 insulated boots in my possession for over a year, I will be able to give a comprehensive As with others who have reviewed this product, the first thing I noticed was how uncomfortable the This is horrible. The WintexTM waterproof barrier did not leak water even while hiking and hunting exclusively in an extremely wet area (Kodiak, Alaska). The boots were relatively clean and I used Kenetrek boot treatment periodically to prevent water from getting inside the boot. Since I haven't had the boots long enough to give a comprehensive review, I can't comment on them. However, once I removed the insoles, as I always do with all my boots, these boots were great out of the box. There is no way I could wear the insoles provided. I find the arch to be too high. There is plenty of space in the toe box. These boots fit true to size, and you can see the quality is exceptional. I wear a 12EE, and they fit true to size. The longevity of these boots remains to be seen, but I expect them to last for many years to come.
Since discovering my old boots were killing my feet in the fall and summer, I spent the fall and summer scrambling to find new boots. When the season is upon us, I get out and walk despite my size. These boots are a big hit with my husband. arthritis in his legs, and these boots have provided him with the best support his feet have ever received. These were worn for an hour as I walked around the house. It felt good to wear the boots. As I walked, I wore merino wool socks over two pairs of base layer socks

They are great boots right out of the box and are extremely comfortable. As soon as I got them, I went for a walk of 3 miles. My favourite thing to wear when I go hunting in the fall I can't wait to try them out.
