In short, yes. Please accept our sincere thanks for asking. We tested our connectors with braided line and confirm they work with braided line.

Can this be used with fly lines?

I think so. Despite the thinness of fly fishing line, if the line slips, you can wrap it around the body a few times before you close the connector and it should stay in place.

Would it be possible to add a second line instead of a blood blot?

I am not sure what the question means. I use this device to add a line to another line a leader, for example. I just make a simple knot to attach the line to the device. I make a loop at the end of the line, twist it around and put it through the hole I just made. An experienced surgeon knows how to do things without I just don't know how to explain this better. Despite this, these things seem to work well. It's just that I'm not sure how to add a video the way it would be most effective.

They couldn't do it

I am getting old and my fingers aren't as flexible as they used to be. Although not the fault of the folks who make them, older fingers have difficulty maneuvering them because they are so small. At least my fingers have difficulty maneuvering something that small. The device was so difficult to get to work yesterday during my fishing day that I finally gave up on trying to get it to work after trying for so long to get the line, the leader, and the two sections of the device to come together properly. You might want to make them a bit bigger. Can I buy a larger one, or does it only come in small sizes.

I saw them online and I am very happy with the product. My tackle box was really glad to see a few more packs of them. The drop shot rig can be setup with two hooks with the help of these. These give you the ability to run two different baits simultaneously and vary the height of the bait off the bottom very easily. The connector is really handy when you find that the fish are holding higher than you had planned for, you just loosen it, slide it up the line a foot or two and tighten back down, all done, you're ready to fish.
