As far as fluoro leaders go, this is the best you can buy. I have never been let down by it, and it is the strongest one I have ever used. Pink leaders are used so fish cannot see the leader, since it is not in their color spectrum. Since it does not transmit light like clear mono, it is virtually invisible to fish. I strongly recommend pink leaders.
After the fly fishing didn't work out, I used it for casting lures and trolling live bait for Rooster fish when I didn't get the hang of fly fishing. Although I haven't ever caught fish with this brand yet, it would seem to be a bit stiffer than the Seaguar blue label floruocarbon in the same #40 size. Other than it being a bit stiff, I didn't notice any.
The leader is a top shelf leader, so this is the first thing we need to know. In the Ad, it was shown as arriving in a zip bag, which is not the case in my purchase. The dispenser came in the usual round plastic container that I already own a few

It has always been a pleasure to work with Pink Label. Leading material that is strong and durable. Disappearance in water is almost complete. My opinion is that it is better than the clear.

I switched to a friend's 80lb seagur fluorocarbon and those knots worked fine. Apparently I got a bad roll of 25 yards.
It's good for the price. Almost as stiff and bigger in diameter as better FC leaders.
