Is this something that could be used with catfish?

I got it to help me because I only have one hand, and it works great for me. The clamp is great, and I'm not sure why it wouldn't work for catfish.

What is the length and width of it?

It measures 23 1/2" in length (including the clamp), 19 1/2" in length (excluding the clamp), and 5 3/8" in width.

Is there enough room for trout in there?

Yes, it's a great place to fish for trout. It may be more difficult to do something larger than 24 inches on it, but I've never had to deal with that "issue."

I like how the notch fits on buckets, but keep in mind that it will not fit a fancy Yeti bucket properly.

I wanted a solid board, and while this product does the job, it's not a very good description of the product. It has a hollow bottom, slides around, and is difficult to handle while filleting a fish. Something solid, heavy, and long-lasting was what I was looking for. br>I simply returned it when it arrived. br>br>There are some items that you want to touch and feel before purchasing. You can't get that experience on the internet. That's just how things are.

I bought this as a gift for my husband because I know how difficult it is for him to fillet fish after a day of fishing.
