This kit appears to be intended for a pond with crappie, bluegill, and sunfish. This stuff isn't bad, but it's also not great. The split rings were bent in a lot of places, and the soft baits are quite small. I mean, it's teeny-tiny. Because a worm hook is too large for some of them, I'll most likely have to use a snell hook. The yellow, blue, and magenta 'pencil lure' has no lip and is extremely difficult to catch. Whatever I do, it stays on the exact surface and goes straight. The popper works fine, but there are a couple of grooves in the mouth that prevent it from 'popping' like other lures.
This is a good starter kit for someone who wants to learn how to fish. Baits for a few different species are available in a wide variety. For everything that's included, it's a great price.
