They do, in fact, Using a size 6 that is larger. I cast them as far as I can about 6 to 8 feet off shore with a clear plastic water-fillable bobber and about 3 feet of leader. The olive green propeller with a silver propeller is what I use. I've found that they work for Bass, Trout, and just about any other game fish that eats bugs. Best of luck on your next fishing trip, and I hope you catch your limit!

I've had success in a variety of environments and with a variety of water types. Fly fishing with a spinning rod is essentially the same thing. To cast further, I use a clear bobber filled with water. Drop 2- The Pistol Petes work well at 4 feet below that with a swivel.
For warm-water fish, I've used the smaller ones on a fly line. The hooks are sharp, the props spin, and the bodies (unlike some of my other flies) have held together well.
We went on a day trip with the grandchildren. Pistol Pete's were used by all of us, and we all caught Rainbow Trout. In fact, I began fishing from the shore and caught my first Trout on my first cast, followed by the other four in quick succession, all in under ten minutes. The grandchildren all went out on the water in the boat and caught trout. It's a fantastic product that's a lot of fun to play with.
At the very least, deceiving!.
These were purchased as a gift for a friend who enjoys fishing. We both have a large number of them, but thousands aren't enough in this case. Rainbow slayers are a type of monster.
These, like everything else from Pistol Pete, are top-notch.
These flies were used to catch and release over 85 trout in three days.
Spring is coming, and I'm looking forward to fishing for trout!.
