They've taken the initiative. I suppose they could be tied on because the bore is too small to slip over an air line. I'm not sure what your water chemistry is like, and I'm not sure how lead-sensitive koi are. For over a year, I've been using large stainless steel nuts on some plastic plants in an aquarium with koi, and they appear to be effective. These would also easily pass through an air line.

I don't know what to say about their lead weights.
What do you think you're going to get out of this? There are no major issues, but the opening's edge could be chamfered slightly to prevent line abrasion. Aside from that, they're just big, heavy lead chunks.
Because they weren't quite heavy enough for the job, I used them to weigh down the outside curtains.
These 5pk 3 oz lead sinkers were exactly as described, arrived quickly, and work perfectly. What more can be said?.
The price is reasonable.
Shipping was very quick. It does exactly what it says.
One of the best bottom fishing rigs is to suspend an egg sinker 18" to 24" above your hook with a swivel or snap swivel. 1/4 oz. is the amount I use. 1 oz. and up When I'm fishing for bullheads or catfish in still or slow-moving waters, I use egg sinkers. When I go saltwater shore fishing, I use 1- 1/2 oz. to 3 oz. (It's best if it's two ounces. ) For bluefish, use chunks of bunker, mackerel, or whole frozen squid as bait above an 18" wire leader with a 5/0 to 7/0 hook. 1 oz. is also what I use. 3–4 oz For blackfish (tautog), an egg singer rig is used above a snelled Virginia hook. The line slips through the sinker, allowing you to feel or see bites without having to worry about the fish feeling the weight. One of the most basic and effective bottom fishing rigs available.
Seek out sinkers that are made of steel. These have a negative impact on the environment and are responsible for the deaths of birds.
