Every packet includes two spools. Spools with a length of 100 feet are available.
It's never been used to hold roe directly. It's intended for use with spawn netting. forming a sack by placing eggs on the spawn netting and securing it with thread.
It's just another thread. I needed something to hold my liver and settled on Elastic net size 1 for the job. I purchased a 25-yard box. 1 1/2 strips were made, with one end tied off. I stuffed the liver in it and then ran my hook through three sides from the top, twisted it, and ran it up the hood shaft before inserting and removing the hook from the liver. It will not come off even if you throw it as hard as you can.

What a pain it is to cast your line and have the bait go one way while the line goes the other. Even when casting out several times, the bait is held securely with this Magic Thread.
Since I first learned to tie a roe sack forty years ago, I've been using this stuff. I've wrapped sardines in it and served them on a Kwikfish. For a nice presentation, I used it to lasso a worm into place. What can I say, it's magic thread. I've always kept some in my tackle box and/or vest. br>.
Simply wrap this stuff around any hook that has a ball of bait on it. There is no need to tie a knot. It sticks to itself and can be stretched. Great.
I would have lost a lot of anchovies by now if it hadn't been for the magic thread. It's not a perfect solution, but it gets the job done. It's the only thing I'll take with me if I leave the house.
This is ideal for baits like chicken liver, strawberry chunks, and other solid-form baits. It stretches well and does not break, which is fantastic! Another thing is that this will last me a long time, and I initially mistook it for a flaw. It doesn't matter that one is orange and the other is red; I like both of them.
It really works.
It easily holds chicken for catfish on the hook. When it's windy, it's a little difficult to work with. br>I keep it in my pocket in case I need to try it out quickly.
