Measuring the distance between the bandeye and the closest notch or fin is done through the muzzle, where the band passes through. A band length of two thirds of this distance is the approximate length of the band. As an example In this case, 21 inches would be the distance from the hole where the band passes through the muzzle to the closest fin. 14 inches is the approximate length of the band.
The rubber portion of the band of a dog collar is measured for band length, not the rubber portion.
The rubber from these companies will require more effort to load and will generate more power compared to rubber from other manufacturers. It is recommended that you order smaller diameter bands if you want to keep a similar power to your old

bought the green bands and highly recommend them for a couple of I found the quality of this band to be much better than the JBL bands that came with my gun, the connections, and the quality of the material As a bonus, the gun can be locate easily underwater, thanks to the green color. I expect these to last for quite some time. My clip that locks my gun to my BCD was broken and I wasn't aware of it. Experiencing Oregon water is like being in a murky pool with visibility of about four to eight Floating my JBL northwest special is no problem because the current is very strong. When I shoot a fish, I will let go of the gun, peel the spear out of the fish, and Dropping the spear messing with the line of fish and reaching for the gun started a flurry of activities. A broken clip is all that is left of the gun. It is unlikely that there is a gun in the area. Although the green bands could be seen from about 15 feet away, they were still clearly visible through the haze. It was possible for me to retrieve my gun - It was those bands that saved the day - It's a done deal for me. In a similar way, my diving partner had lost his gun two years ago, so flashes of his loss were making me feel anxious. His gun would still be in his possession if he had those bands. Don't forget that you can purchase them if you don't have It is a great dive to do the Oregon coast if you haven't been there yet.
Last year, I bought these and only let them touch salt water twice, and each time I rinsed them off and stored them Several of them have already begun to crack. My knowledge of spearfishing is limited, but perhaps I should replace them every year since I'm new to it.
My band comes from a brand I like that has wooden shafts with a knotch and a metal wishbone. As far as the gun is concerned, the band is well made and doing its job well.
The bands work but my gun came with slightly smaller bands. However, the manufacturers claim that the smaller size is also effective. As I loaded it, the first band loaded just fine, but the next would not load because the first band was so fat that it blocked the next band from clicking in. After messing with it for a while, I found that if I put the first notch into the third (previously unused) notch and the next notch in the first notch, it would work. Whoosh, I was terrified that I wouldn't be able to fish. Afterward, they seemed fine, but I will get a smaller size and a shorter size next time.
Description says it will be 5/8, but it is. A 9/16 note is even on the bag in which it came. As far as I can tell, all is well.
I found the band slightly thicker than stock bands, but they are working well and have held up in The product was excellent and I would purchase it.
Replaced the bands on my speargun with very good results. As I prefer to replace the bands annually, this was a good price. Always good to have a spare one lying around, especially if you are in an offshore location and can't get in touch with a representative.
A good quality product.
